ESPN: John Moffitt was unhappy, quits NFL

You have to respect this man's views. He seems down to earth and just decided it's not for him. I like that he's got a sense of humor about it - and doesn't really want a lot of publicity about the decision.

Having said that - - he may regret the decision in a couple years when he's under paid and over worked like the rest of us average Americans...

Revis is confused; money is happiness.

 

It says something about how brutal a life this is that someone who wasn't even playing much (making the risk of injury much less) would want to leave $300,000 on the table, rather than stick with it for another 3 months at most.

 

As much as I love football I totally understand what he is saying.
