What a find this kid has been!

Defensive Interior – Nose: Damon Harrison, NYJ (+21.8)

One of the most pleasant surprises of the year has been the ascension of Harrison to not just a starting role, but to earning a spot on our Midseason All-Pro team. He’s fantastic against the run and does more than just eat up space as his 12.9 run stop percentage (fourth best of all defensive tackles) will show you. A really stacked position with Dontari Poe, Marcell Dareus and Brandon Mebane all playing well enough.

Nick Folk made the team as well.

Huh? Deangelo Hall isnt a good cover corner at this point in his career. I agree with Mo though

They have the all-division teams too. So I can see Wilkerson is +15.4. He had a relatively slow start (based on other pff articles) so that's probably why. They've been praising him a lot the last few weeks. Fletcher Cox, who was second team, got +18.7, so it was close.

How the hell does Gerald Mccoy make it over Wilkerson? The stats aren't even close and they are 0-8. Do they know something we don't? I mean Wilks only has like 6 more sacks, 7 more tackles, 2 more forced fumbles, 1 more INT, and 2 more TFL. WTF? I guess they wouldn't dare put that many Jets on the team, because it would go against the stereotype. I'm surprised Snacks is up there, but Wilk should be in for sure. PFF's rankings I always take with a grain of salt. Sometimes they come right out of left field with the shit. I'm surprised to see Revis up there, considering most of the talk was that he hasn't been as effective.

Nobody actually watches the games... He's been just as good if not better, at only 75%. People want to talk about how all the Bucs do is play zone, but when in man coverage, Revis has been lockdown as usual.

Deangelo Hall may be the most overrated player in the history of the NFL. Guy gets burnt constantly.

Good to see Damon Harrison is getting the love he should.

No Mangold? He's the best center in football.

Maybe it's like the MLB All-Star teams, at least one player from every team has to be on it

I love Mangold and wear his jersey proudly but he hasnt been as great this year and last. Could be the people next to him and he's clearly one of the best but it wouldn't surprise me to see multiple centers playing better.

That's awful! No wonder the all star games are such a joke! I mean how are the Bucs 0-8 with the best corner and best DE in football? At least we can confidently say Wilkerson is winning us games.

Yeah I'd put Mangold in the top 3 but not as #1. Pouncey and Ryan Kalil slightly higher.

I suspect that it's difficult to accurately gauge this by percentage, or at least to tell which player amongst a line is responsible for it. In other words, having Sheldon and Mo around him hasn't hurt Snack's 12.9 percentage numbers I'm sure.

No to knock him - we all love Snacks.

  17. Sorry man but I gotta disagree with ya on this. Both are dominant players but take a look at Gerald Mccoy next time you watch the lowly Bucs.

He's freakishly quick off the snap, faces constant double teams & still manages to get consistent penetration in the backfield. He's likely the best 3 technique in football right now & it isn't even close.

Wilkerson plays a much different role as he is used all over the front including 1 gap,2 gap & 5 technique type looks.

The more reasonable comparison to Mccoy would be Sheldon Richardson. Richardson has the talent to possibly surpass Mccoy as he becomes more seasoned. For one,he's considerably better than Mccoy was as a rookie, has better change of direction skills, better surrounding cast, better coaching & has room to mature physically.

For the time being however, Mccoy is no joke.

^Sure he's no joke and is a good player, but he hasn't done nearly as much for the team as Wilkerson has for the Jets. I'll have to keep an eye on him when the Bucs beat the fins for their first win on Monday.

Not sure why he is on there over Wilkerson and even Richardson.
