I keep seeing this TD run by Adrian Peterson over and over on ESPN....great run no doubt...by why no mention of his teammate basically holding him up and helping him across? My point is it wasn't all Peterson on that play....
I had the same reaction - he would have gone down like any other runner when he was stopped if he hadn't been held up by his teammate. It also looked like he might have been being pushed forward at the end by the teammate. I didn't think there was anything particularly noteworthy about that run.
I'm pretty sure that only applies to special teams. Either way, Peterson is the man. He practically carries 2 of my fantasy teams.
I noticed the same thing. Not to take away from Peterson's second effort, but number 86 literally picked Peterson up and carried him across the line. :up:
