I know this is probably not necessary, but I'm sick of all of the BS we put up with. As if the last 2 years weren't bad enough for us to have to suffer through, we are still dealing with punch after punch that the media throws at us. We had maybe the most unwatchable offense ever, and we've all stuck with it, with faith things would turn around. All my friends have teams that are considered great, or elite teams, mainly because they haven't followed their teams for as long as I have mine. However...with the game this past Sunday... the minute it happened Sunday afternoon, when we won..I knew all I'd hear was "You got lucky! It was a BS call that made you win!" It's as if those people don't realize that we held the ball longer, out yarded them, were a pick 6 away from a big, big win, and a BS call on Hill from a 2 score win. I'm personally sick of this. I've gotten used to it in the 10+ years following the gang green. I just respect, and appreciate everyone else that sticks thru everything no matter what. It's not easy being green, as Pin Point's avatar has pointed out, but I always love coming to TGG regardless of W, or L. Petro runs this site like magic, and I honestly feel like it's the best message board of any team out there. I like my home town team Pack too, but it's nearly impossible getting great insight/news, even living here. I bleed green, as my sloppy tattoo shows, and I hate it, but love it all at the same time. I love Rex, always have, loved Penny, and CMart once upon a time, and can't wait to talk Jets with the knowledgeable posters here in the future. :metal: Oh, and for good time's sake... ats_suck:
Great post. Thanks for sharing. The Jets and especially Rex and the D and Geno made all of us proud on Sunday Looks like years of good football on the horizon
AGREED! I am still feeling so darn proud of OUR team! I must add I love what Geno brings to the game. That kid plays with ice water in his veins.
Nice post. It is nice to see positive people posting. Let's just hope the Jets can put together two in a row.
Agreed!!!!I like Geno a lot. He does not mope after he makes a mistake. If nothing else, I really appreciate his body language on the sidelines...
THIS amazed me last game. He dives into the endzone to bring us right back in the game at the start of the 3rd quarter, they show him after on the sideline and the guy was emotionless. Just sitting there watching the game with ZERO emotion. It amazed me.
Have been proud to be a Jet fan all my life. Proud after the big wins and proud after the toughest moments like fake spikes and butt fumbles. I'll be a proud Jet fan tomorrow. The outcomes of games and seasons does change who I am....a proud Jet fan.
The call on Hill was legit. The Jets need to get Laverneus Coles in to instruct on the proper way to get away with offensive PI. Man was a ninja master at it.
it really is pretty amazing. this is the same jets team as last week after losing to the steelers. this is still a team with alot of problems. this is still a team that has quite some ways to go. this is still a team with alot of questions. and to be honest, and i hate to be this guy but the patsies were pretty banged up last week so lets not start acting like we beat the greatest team in the world. good win, now lets see if we can keep going up instead of up and down like we have been.
