Compared to Ivory, he 'looked' hurt. Man, Ivory is NASTY in the middle of the field, delivering serious body blows to who ever tries to get in his way.
Now it's ivory's backfield. Tuna said, "you never want to come out of the huddle bc you never know who is going in." Powell is a baller, a hungry player and reliable, solid change of pace back.
Say what you want, but our OLine did not play well today. Ivory was constantly getting hit at the line of scrimmage and had to fight for the few yards that he could get per run. Really want to see this guy when the line starts putting up better blocks.
It seems like Powell tweaked his neck during the week and maybe aggravated it during the game. One of the things about a running back by committee arrangement is that it gives you the leeway to sit guys now and then when they are a bit banged up. At some point we'll be glad Ivory was durable enough to let Powell have a quiet day.
