-every running play is between the tackles, can we try to run it outside -Blaylock stinks, he gets tackled at first contact and doesn't run hard -Ellis is an overpaid and very average de, gets no pressure and is only average against the run -dewaste of a pick Robertson is a total bust, this is his last year as a jet -Cotchery should have been playing the last two years for Mac, he gets open and doesn't drop anything -Brad Smith needs to be on the field more, and has to touch the ball at least a few times a game -Coles is the heart of this time, he plays hard, gets tough yards great player -Nugent needs to go, he can't kick the ball anywhere near the endzone on kickoffs this really hurt us yesterday -Vilma is not going to be a good 3-4 linebacker, he is too small -on the last play of the game why is Pennington in there, he can only throw the ball 45 yards when it needed to go 60, should have put in Ramsey -Pennington is a decent qb but he is not the future, when Clemens is ready we need to see what we have there -Rhodes is going to be a star, he is always around the ball -absolutely no pash rush yesterday, where was the blitz, first blitz of the game caused the turnover -we really didn't play well yesterday, defense had no pass rush and couldn't stop the run, offensive really didn't do anything other then the play to Cotchery and the Coles TD, we were completely dominanted for 52 of the 60 minutes of this game
WTF is it with all you people and the "Ramsey should have thrown the Hail Mary pass" crap?? That is about the most retarded crap I am reading on here today. Ramsey blows. Period. Why you would want a cold QB in the game like that is beyond me. The fact that the announcers suggested it tells me it is probably a dumb idea. Pennington is here NOW, and if he isn't injured you are going to have to sit patiently and wait for Clemens. I'm hoping he makes you wait a long, long time.
I am not saying Ramsey is a good qb but he could have reached the endzone on the last play, that doesn't make him a good player but at least it would have given a chance to score, Chad's throw was 15 yards short.
one other observation -what happened to Eric Coleman, he had a great rookie year and stunk last year and so far this year also
I agree why wasn't brad smith in the game more. Why not throw him into the mix and have the pats deal with his game changing ability. They threw all their TE and RB at us why not go with all recievers.

You must be the angry guy who sits next to me and complains after every play. If going to the game made me that miserable I'd get rid of my tickets. Personally, I enjoyed the little retrospective tribute to JoJo Townsell on the video board. Any time your kickoff returner is your team MVP (1989) you had a shitty year. Nice of them to remind us though. I also liked the "out of town scoreboard" where they showed us a close-up of the scoreboard right below the video board. That's for the visually impaired, I guess.
we need a stud of a running back to get ahead in the league, i will still stick to my guns and say that Jets didnt try enough to get the 2nd pick in the round to get Reggie, they should have over paid or traded who ever to get that pick, but we didnt, and now we missed the chance of getting Branch, he no T.O. or R. Moss, but would have been a great upgrade to McCarines / Cotchery P.S. Chad's the best fit QB for the Jets, unless he has 3rd surgery
the hail marry at the end of the game does work, I agree that it is not a high percentage play but it does work maybe 1 out of 30 times, the pass that Chad threw has 0 chance of working why is everyone saying that Ramsey blows, it doesn't matter, all he is doing is throwing the ball to the endzone, if we had Vinny or any other qb that can reach the endzone he put him in. that is the point, not that Ramsey is a better qb than Chad
if Vinny was around, Chad would definetly been pulled and Vinny would have been given the chance to bomb the ball, but Ramsey has a problem w/ throwing intersecptions all the time, according to some people here, but thats not true
Actually this same issue came up when Vinny was here, they didn't put him in for that either. He wasn't warmed up and he was about 38 at the time. You're basically just hoping for a deflected ball or a defensive penalty at that point anyway, so it's a senseless debate. Chad put it in play, that's all you can do.

he put it in play 15 yards short of the endzone even if we come down with it there is almost no chance of us getting to the endzone and there is no chance of getting a penalty on that play, have you ever seen a pass interference on a hail marry?????
