Put Goodson and Gates on the IR. Sign Josh Cribbs to handle retum duties and extra receiver role. Extend Rex Ryan, Dennis Thurman, Marty Mornhinweg for at least three more seasons. Announce that Geno Smith has earned the privilege of being named starting QB for all of 2013 and probably longer. Thats enuf for one week
I'd jizz in my pants if that happened. Jimmy Graham will be expensive, however, and I'm not sure I want us doing big money deals just yet. I'd totally swing one for Blackmon now if we could, but who knows. It's Jacksonville's like one future star, they might wanna hold onto him. If not this draft should be mostly offensive playmakers minus a safety and OLB. A lot of it also hinges on Geno's performance this year. If he doesn't show all that much promise we will draft a QB to compete with Geno & Simms. We might do that option regardless.
I would trade the first rounder for Blackmon - Jax wouldn't let him go for less. I would try to sign Graham but wouldn't the Saints franchise him? With those two in tow I would then go defense with the remaining top picks preferably an OLB and a S. Lower draft picks go OL depth, a KR-RB, CB. Hill Blackmon, Kerley and Graham at TE would give Geno some nice weapons. Pace needs to be replaced with more speed....

Find a way to get larry fitz if Izdik is in love with Geno. Zona ain't going no where. Geno needs targets. No TE, No WR. For fitz and Heath miller right now? I would give a first for Fitz and a 4th and 6th for miller. PITT is having a crappy season and miller is gonna want money that pitt would rather have a pick than pay him.
This is similar to what most of us do with the Jets on Madden. It's supposed to be within reason people! That said, We'll draft another DL in the early rounds, a WR in the mid rounds, trade our 1st round pick for Deangello Hall (or any other unworthy Doug Jolley type jag), sign more recently retired players, and not do anything worth while.
Seriously though? I'd cut Tone, and Winslow, restruct Harris, or trade him, trade Cro for what he's really worth if possible, or else keep him if he gets back to full health, and #1 CB play. I would draft a WR, and OLB in the first 2 rounds. With our likely 2 3rd round picks, I would target secondary BPA, and RB/OL bpa. If Geno doesn't show enough progress thru the rest of the year, then fuck it, and trade the farm for Teddy, or a TBD QB stud.
