I really like this guy and he had a nice game today. Almost had a pick and got us a turnover with the Brady fumble. A couple of times he came off the edge with good run support as well. He is a tall DB with long arms so he will help prevent teams from throwing up lobs against our smaller DB's. Thoughts??

I really like Rhodes. He's a dynamic playmaker (I hate that phrase but I didn't know how else to describe him).

His sack was a momentum turner.

Yeah. Rhodes is playing loads better than Coleman is right now. Coleman hasn't made a significant play in about a year.

I really hope Smith shows why we picked him in round 3, and he can replace Coleman eventually...

It's really weird, because Coleman gets worse by the game. He's not a bad player by any means, but I really thought he played great his first year.

Rhodes is definitely a playmaker. A big part of our future on defense, no doubt.

rhodes will be a top 5 safety at the end of this year, or very close to it....coleman needs to be more of a playmaker i'm sorry.....i mean he's solid, but the poster who said he hasn't made a big play in about a year is dead on

rhodes is just what the jets need. a potential real big playmaker for longer pass plays. i think we'll see that he'll be a nice compliment for vilma on d

Coleman broke into this league in a big way. He impressed the coaches enough to give him a chance, and he shined. I'm wondering if the opposition has figured him out. How do you go from something great to mediocre in such a short amount of time?

I seem to remember that everyone was high on Coleman mainly because of the picks that he got his first year, and at the time I remember thinking that he had a couple nice plays, but that a bunch of those picks came on severly overthrown passes and I think one miscommunication between qb and receiver. They were the kinds of picks that can happen regardless of who your safeties are.

Coleman is making tackles and the ball isn't really coming his way what do you want him to do.

Coleman also had a really bad penalty, when he held the RB coming out the backfield on NE last scoring drive

If the end of the game is any indication, eventually may be next week. After that horrible holding penalty Smith replaced Coleman for at least a series. I didn't notice if Coleman came back in for the final drive by NE..
