There was NO foul on that play...Davis def didn't hold Rodgers, perfect play to cover Tony G and we got screwed...Geno did his thing and Folk did too...
NFL refs can suck a big green and white one. And if you wanna make excuses for them you can have sloppy seconds!!!!
Who was the call on though? I think they mistakenly called Davis. They probably meant to call Harris and got mixed up. Harris and Jarrett did a perfect job on Gonzalez. They just jammed him up at the line but let him go before 5 yards. There was no holding or jersey grabbing either. Perfect football play...but the refs just desperately needed Atlanta to get that TD
Worst call was in 4th Qtr, the OL who jammed Barnes facemask, knocking his helmet clear off.....not far from a Ref. Great no call. Hands in Face? those are saved for Colon.
Bad calls all over the place...on BOTH sides of the ball, but a phantom call after a 4th and goal stand to decide the game is bullshit.
There were some bad calls against us, but we did get two offensive PI calls that were huge as well. You usually don't see that called but we got two of them in our favor.
The Jets had a couple of calls fall their way for sure but that phantom call on Davis almost handed the game to Atlanta - I don't know how they explain that one. I realize that it always feels like your own team is the one getting bad calls but the Jets definitely seem to be on the short end of the penalty stick so far this year.
Please with the bitching about the refs. That call didn't "almost hand the game to Atlanta", Rex Ryan's Vaunted Defense (Pat. Pend) letting them drive down field twice in 6 minutes almost handed the game to Atlanta.
There were many bad calls on pass interference and defensive holding. Some in our favor some not. The 2 calls on Julio Jones were horrible.
That's completely beside the point. Just because our D didn't shut them down doesn't have anything to do with how terrible that call was.
We bracketed Gonzalez three times, just like the Pats did last week. No calls on the Pats = The Genius of Bill Belidouchenozzle Three calls on the Jets = Fuck 'em. The league probably made it a point of emphasis after the Pats game, but come on.
You're right. Jets didn't deserve this win. It was an accident, just luck really. Rex should be fired immediately. He talks too much and needs to shut up about his D. His defense is a piece of shit and as evidenced by Atlanta drive. Again: win accidental, Rex is a yapping nobody, must be fired now.
