Was it Schott being confused with what down it was? Miscommunication with Pennington? I still don't understand what happened.

I dont get why we use a QB Sneak on 1st down but not a QB sneak on 4th and 1 on our own zone.

Don't know, but it got us 3 yards, which is more than our running backs were getting today.

Mangini said Pennington saw a big gap on defense up front, and he has the ability to change the play if he wants to, and so he did.

Pennington must of been trying to catch the pats off guard which didnt work, but that would probably have picked up more yards than any other run we would of called

A quick thinking slow running QB using the no-huddle.

I dont mind that play at all. Chad saw something in the defense and thought taking the yards he could get on the sneak was better than the play called. I like that Chad has the freedom to change the play and that 3 yard run was better than barlow or blaylock could do all day

F'n BINGO! We have a winner! That was a putrid play call.... Mangini should be doing about 20 laps for that stupid ass call.

I see Brady do that all the time, I really had no big deal with it. If Chad thought he saw a gap then take it and run

Because when we run the ball we get anywhere from -3 to 2 yards, the sneak got us 3.

Saw Chad on a postgame SNY interview and he confirmed that was his own call at the line, he thought he could get at least five yards up the middle.

It was Chad's call. I've seen Brady do the same, all a matter of the QB having the right to call his own plays if he sees something open. Obviously Pennington was wrong thinking there was such a gap where he'd be able to get 5+ yards.
