why do we keep running it? sure we had 1 decent run tonite, but 9 times out of 10 it goes for like 2 yards scrap it already
Goodson ripped off a 25 yard gain today. Keeps the defense honest. Don't be surprised if we see Kerley throw out of it later in the season.
I get that it eases in your rookie QB, but Geno is doing just fine. Had a bad day against Tennessee and in the 4th quarter against New England, but he's doing just fine.
I don't have a problem with it. It's a different look, the big play is yet to come but I understand throwing a curveball at the D. We will have to throw out of it one of these days.
It wasn't as bad tonight but it helps limit mistakes. and ftr, I'll take that over Shottyupdagut but I do hate when they do it too often
Ivory and goodsen both had big gains out of it. Let MM do his thing. I mean damn, it's not broke :breakdance:
im not a fan of it either...but tonight goodson ripped a big gain on it so i cant crap on it right now
I liked that they actually handed it off on the end around once. They've also thrown out of it once earlier in the season but it was incomplete. As long as it's not obvious who will have the football I think it has its place.
ok, so that 25 yard gain brings our wildcat total on the year to what... 29 yards? it doesnt keep anyone honest. teams arent laying off fearing the throw by bilal powel
Why is the Wildcat such a big deal to some people? It's just one more formation to run out of. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Success depends on timing and execution, same as with every other offensive play.
Last time I liked it was when Brad Smith was running it. Each time wasn't going to be a snap & run up the middle. They mixed it up a bit to keep the D off balance. I can't stand it now.
