problem with brady is that he gets rid of the ball before take those big hits , and btw dont you guys think rex is a bit more conservetive when it comes to blitzs on tom?
Those boos were pretty loud. It wasn't just a few bad fans, it was the majority of people in the stands there. I'd never wish an injury on anyone, no matter which rival they may play for. The scumbag above that wished Rich and Wilks were out from the season is just as bad as the people booing at the stadium last night, but that guy represents ONE FAN, not 30,000+.
It's classless, that's what's wrong with it, and it's not the first example of classless Pats fans. As a Bills fan you should know that. As a football fan, it's much more satisfying to beat a good team without injuries being a factor. Rooting for season ending injuries or booing when somebody is legitimately hurt, even as he's being helped off the field shows no class at all. Yeah, I'm sure he was so invested in faking the injury that they decided to pretend to cart him off the field and have him not return. They just wanted to slow down hurry up, even though it failed all game. Yeah, a win is a win, but that doesn't mean you want people injured. I guess that's just me having empathy towards people.
I was at the game. Even sitting in the premo seats (50 yard line, row 13), the clear majority of fans booed both the Richardson and more loudly the Wilk injuries. The average Pats' fan is much more drunk than the average NY football fan (I'm a Jets season ticket holder, Sect 135) and most of them didn't appear to know the rules, assuming some how the Jets got a clock stoppage out of the deal.
I was just gonna start a thread on Richardson, but I'll just tuck my thoughts in this one. When he was drafted, this place fell apart with despair and bewilderment. But so far, he has proven to be an excellent selection. He has been excellent right out of the gate, and will only improve from here. Our DL may very well end up being the best in the NFL, and some of that is due to Richardson. I cannot wait till they are all healthy, and we get Coples back as well. Downright scary thought for opposing OCs. If we can shore of the LB position next year with a quality FA signing or good draft pick, and Milliner's play picks up, this defense can end up being the best there is.
thats true even tho Safety core is just not top tier , plus we gonna draft offensive heavy i think next year.
Phew. Thats great news. Had me worried. I hope we can get Coples back vs Buffalo so we can wreak havoc on the OL.
jets really need to beat the jills if not, all we'll hear about is how ej manuel is better than geno, i want geno to prove that he really was the best QB in the draft on topic, i think sheldon and mo are both fine. it will be interesting to see how they work coples into the mix, because quite honestly what we've been doing currently has been spectacular. hopefully him coming in doesn't fuck anything up
Definitely , even the comms team made the same point. "Hurries are as good as sacks..." nah, not for me. Constantly getting to the QB and hitting him is what causes mistakes.
I'm not sure what this even means in the context of this thread's subject matter (the health of Richardson and Wilkerson) but every Jet fan with a functioning brain wanted Sanchez out.
Wilk and Sheldon faked there inurys it looks like , I haven't heard any reports about it unless I missed them or something
The Jets took two of their most effective defensive players completely out of a game to slow down an offense that couldn't score? What the fuck are you talking about?
On a QB like Tom Brady he is bothered by hits not pressures. A younger QB like Manuel or Geno would be more bothered by pressure and not necessarily have to be hit to not feel comfortable.
