Don't worry...you'll never trump the Juncinator, especially with "meaningless stats".

Next years draft better be offense, offense, and offense. If they spend another 1st round pick on a defensive player not named Clowney I will lose my mind. For Clowney I wouldn't mind, but I'm not sure we are gonna have a top 5 pick next year. RT, WR, or RB, I don't care, but draft a damned offensive player!

I said it before the 2013 draft and totally agree. WR and RB mainly. We need elite level skill guys on offense. No defense fears anyone on our team.

You say that as if there are guaranteed elite players coming out of the draft... The draft is a crapshoot for the most part.

Can we let the guy play a few games. Man Ohh Man are we jumping off the Bridge with this guy. Everyone talking about we took him too high. Listen if there was going to be a "project label" or 'learning curve" with this guy the way he runs and his size he's a 1st round pick. What we are seeing is why he slipped to second round. Give the guy a chance.

In my opinion the fumble was a freak play Thursday night. The defenders knee comes up and pops the ball loose, I think most WR on this play would lose the ball. The 3rd down play hey he gets blame for the drop because of his hands but it was right in the middle of the down pour. I have seen enough good things out of Hill to excite me. We are going to have to live with some drops this year and hope he gets better.
This continues for 16 weeks then all the knocks on him should be uttered.

As if Hill didn't play any games last year when he had the dropsies? People talk as if he's a rookie. ****, Belichick benched his star back because of a couple of fumbles, why can't we hold a receiver accountable for MULTIPLE drops over the course of two seasons?

Yeah teams like Pats and Giants have done this before with their players.

Jets did that with Dee Milliner because they have a standard when it comes to defense. However, when it comes to offense, they dont have any standards.

Right, because he had dropsies like everyone else on Thursday and practically no drops on Week 1. What is even more funny is that this is the beginning of season two and you are overreacting.

No such thing as guaranteed however drafting well along with FA is how you build a winner. The Jets NEED to address offensive skill positions early in this upcoming draft.

Well stated. These guys calling him a bust already should not be allowed to wear Hill jerseys once he gets it going ; )

Watch the fumble again and you'll see the ball kicked out on a fluke play when the pats defender falling down was lucky to have the back of his foot meet the ball. It was a tough break.

I think most WR would have the common sense to have *both* hands on the football as they're being tackled so they won't lose the football.

    Just saying....

Half the All-Pros in football woulda been cut thirteen games into their career if some of the amateur GM's on this board ran their teams. Yeesh.

^ Wait....Are you suggesting that Hill is going to be an All-Pro?

Seriously? 'Cause that's what you're alluding to there.

I know he's improving but come on now....

He has to do BETTER and actually help his team *win games* instead of fumbling them away....

Hill can absolutely be an all-pro if he figures it all out. He already has the speed and size.

...didnt we say the same thing about Vernon Goulston? Speed and size means nothing if youre not football smart and Hill is about as dumb as they come with his most recent comments.

Yeah, if he could just catch we'd be all set.
