I think the Pats win but don't cover the 12.5 spread.

i changed my mind. have a feeling jets win tonight due to pats not being at full strength .

wow jets could actually be 2-0.

That's my feeling as well. I think both teams are offensively challenged for different reasons but Brady does enough to pull out the win. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets win due to some timely turnover.

I have no idea what to expect. On the one hand I see how short handed they are and how they struggled against the Bills and think "We got this!"...but then I remember we are the Jets and they are the Pats, not to mention we have a rookie QB going up against BB and we're on the road.

Realistically I think our defense will be able to keep us in it because the Pats offense is going to be someone suspect by their normal standards (i.e. I don't think they put up 35+ points) and our defense is looking pretty strong...but I'm just not sure if our offense will be able to do enough to get it done.

I'm calling it at 20-17...just not sure for which team.

Well they only said butt fumble 1 time that is an improvement. Stephen A Smith referencing Geno's swag was interesting as well. However, First take is a terrible show and I will never watch it.

For all the talk about the Pats injuries, the Jets are missing their most productive 2012 receiver on an overall talent-strapped WR roster in Kerley as well as Coples whose "accountable for" factor would favorably impact on Mo Wilk and Richardson's effectiveness that much more.

24-14 Pats. I'd be more optimistic if we had more time to prepare (although T-Rich made a great counterpoint to this thought yesterday on Jets Gameplan).

They hardly beat the Bills who were missing half their starting secondary, and that's when Amendola and Vereen were going into the game healthy.

Everyone in here is just predisposed to assuming we're gonna lose to the Pats.

God what I wouldn't give for the Jets to absolutely dominate the Patriots as payback in front of a national audience. I'm talking 45-3 embarrassment. That would just make my year. Hell, that would make my life.

I'd love to see it too. I would be just be nervous about week 7? (Or 8?) Whenever the Jets play the Pats at home, as Gronk and Amendola will most likely be back and Tom will be pissed.
