I realize Moore made some mistakes in the game this past week, but you can't argue with a guy that's still in just his third year of being a guard, a converted DT. He'll never be dominating but he's definitely a solid starter.
Looks like they cut Zach Hilton to make room for Wade Smith. The announcement was imbedded in a story about Bobby Hamilton. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show/547
this guy can be a pretty good player.hopefully he'll get some good coaching here w/the jets & be productive for us.
Played under Wise in Miami. Showed alot of promise his rookie year, but much like the whole phins OL...he regressed in 04. He'll add some versatility, experience and upside.
This is a decent depth signing for the remainder of the season, I suppose. Really, though, he's not very good. I wouldn't want to have to depend on him long term.
"Alot" of promise is stretching it. He gave up 12 sacks. He got benched for Damion McIntosh his second season, and then when Saban and Hudson Houck took over, he switched to Center. He might end up being a decent interior starter on a team that focuses on smaller linemen. He doesnt have the strength to play LT, and he didnt have the strength to play Center for Miami, who prefers bigger, stronger Centers.
