You didn't follow the conversation closely enough. Geno is the guy that has been here for a minute. Go back to the post C quoted with the Pipp reference and read the second sentence.
TODAYtodaytoday... ...I CONSIDER MYSELF THE LUCKIEST MANmanman... ...ON THE FACE OF THE EARTHearthearth.
Funny how for years we bitched that Sanchez was coddled, never had to worry about his job because Tanny failed to put another QB on the bench that could push him. And now we have a do over with Geno and ppl are like "It's not fair to Geno to have Sanchez breathing down his neck. No one can play with confidence if they're looking over their shoulder". Well? Which is it?
Paranoia ... Mark thinks that Izdik has a conspiracy going on that he has Dr.J.Andrews beating his arm with a bat while under anesthesia.
This is what happens when your 4th pass of the pre-season is a pick-6 to a rookie defensive lineman on a screen play in a WCO offense that will be throwing screens all year long. You begin to think that everybody is out to get you because everybody is looking at you funny from there on out.
Or that if Sanchez can't handle having Tebow looking over his shoulder then we don't want him as our QB? Well if Geno can't handle having "the worst QB in the NFL" looking over his shoulder, maybe we don't want HIM as our QB? _
Rex was just on the radio and made mention of the possibility that in the next few days action may be taken in regards to having 4 QBs on the roster. My guess would be that if Geno performs adequately, Sanchez will be gone before the Pats game.
Agreed--it is better for EVERYONE (Sanchez included) if the jets move on without him. Do him and the team a favor.
Not to mention red zone INT, fumbled snaps, and having your teammates totally lose confidence in you.
