yea that rams line is really low, and the defense is much improved...i'd go with st louis -3 over the 49ers

I didn't see the Rams/Broncos game last week, but giving up 161 yards over just 25 carries (6.4 ypc) isn't exactly intimidating defense. Sure, they manhandled Jake Plummer, but does that really deserve accolades?

    Week 1: 4-0-1 best bets

    Week 2:

    LOCK: Denver (-11)
    BB: San Francisco (+3)
    BB: Tampa Bay (+6)

I didn't use a lock for week 1; just picked 5 games. I'll see if I can do locks in the future.

    It's now SF (+3.5)

I lost the Tampa Bay pick. 0-1 so far, with 2 picks to go.

looks like I was wrong about Denver. After Kubiak left, their offense disappeared

I'm 1-2 this week. Denver won't cover, Tampa didn't, and SF did.

no shit everyone I started out last year the same damn way 2-1 then follow with a dismal 0-3 2-4 for the year 1-1 on the lock
no problem and no excuses on my part -- the feeling out process is now over
I vow to bounce back -- looks like yisman and cakes faired only slightly better than me

til next week oh yes the Jets gained a bit of respect today irregardless of the outcome
    IMO

I may need to stop making these locks and best bets picks.

Look at my record thus far:

    overall: 18-12
    locks: 1-1
    best bets: 2-4
