It's a good match-up for the Jets - better than some would think in my opinion. Doug Martin I don't think can beat the Jets on his own, but he's a scary talent out there. We need to prepare for Doug Martin on 3rd down also - we don't have much tape of Martin being in on 3rd down so we need to prepare for any screens or passes to the RB. Just get the ball out of his hands. Let Freeman try and be a hero and we will be 1-0 I believe. I wish Q was out there too - he's become one of my favorite up and coming players on this team. Offensively, we will have a VERY hard time running the football, that's my issue. That D-Line is pretty stellar over in TB too - but the linebackers and even the safeties to an extent we can make plays on.
Fantasy football is all about volume stats. Freeman is seventh over the last three seasons in yards, and 10th in touchdown passes. If your league doesn't deduct for turnovers, he's a top 10 QB. He's not close to that in reality obviously, but it's called "fantasy" for a reason.
Oh no ESPN, do whatever you want but please don't throw me in that briar patch. Wow, ESPN is just full of Jets hate today!
No shit! ESPN has been ESPECIALLY harsh on the Jets this year. I think, maybe, they are mad because they have to invent shit to make it seem like the Jets are imploding now. I mean...what's with the shit about Ryan going to see his kid play? So he takes 6 hours out of his life to go see his boy's first ball game. Simply amazing.
I can see them saying start the Tampa DEFENSE...but yeah if I had all the Buccanneers players on my fantasy team, Freeman's the last guy I'm starting.
