Steelers should be #1 hands down..Everywhere I go around the country there are loads of Steelers fans... When I went to PITT for the AFC Championship game a few years ago as soon as you arrive in the airport everybody has on Black and Yellow... Everybody.. Wherever I looked Steelers gear.. They are the most loyal fans period..

I've had season tickets to the Jets since 1980 and have gone to virtually every game in those 33 years and I've been to about 6-7 Pats games in the 80s and 90s and I can say without question that Jets fans are far more loyal than Pats fans. The Pats were an afterthought on the Boston sports scene until the late 90s and Parcells and then became a fad with all the recent success. The Jets had one of the longest waiting list for season tickets through the 80s and 90s even with the futility and bad seasons. The only thing that changed that was the pricing of seats in the new stadium. You could walk up to Pats games in the 80s and 90s and get tickets. The Lisa Olsen thing was a side show. It didn't mean anything to fan loyalty or ticket sales.

Mark my words. When the Brady window closes and the Pats become ordinary, things will revert to normal - or worse than normal because now the Pats fans are bandwagon fans who want to watch a winner - and that stadium, with its horrible location, will be 1/3 empty.

Jets fans are loyal. Look what happens when they put together 9 or 10 win seasons. The place goes bonkers and tickets are a rarity. This is a team that has hosted 2 playoff games since 1986! Two whole home playoff games in 26 years. The Pats host two almost every season. Pats fans buy tickets expecting a game in January. Jets fans buy tickets hoping for a few good home games. Big Big Big difference.

I had season tickets and I want them again!

But not at the prices Woody is selling them for. My seats in the old stadium were $10k PSLs at NMS. No thanks. I want tickets but imnot willing to pay for better seats and won't buy upper bowl.

I'd like to see the overall breakdown of stats for this ranking too. I'm not gonna be the FUCK YEAH BILLS FANS ARE THE BEST (even though I think they are), I think the teams decade and a half of failure has reflected to a reputation of poor fans. Many people seem to think 7/8 of our home games are blacked out here. Usually it's one tops per season or every other season. We still sell out games/exceed minimum amount. Hell, our opening game against the patsies sold out in may.

All the new Pats fans are the plastic fans that Dallas Cowboys , LA Lakers . Yankees ( had to say that !!) and in soccer Man United have....followers of pure success with no deep seated passion for their team..exactly the reason why Wembley for the UK games is full of Pats and niners shirts....glory hunters....give me pain , apathy and anguish any day of the week!!!!!!!!!

Not many fanbases in sport would have watched the shit we have endured for 30 years and still turn up in numbers..in the early 90s it was almost addictive to see how pathetic we were!! ...I could say that for all the teams I follow............

Jets fanbase is loyal, yes. But supportive? I don't know about that. Many Jets fans are just plain tired of the BS.

I don't see how the Pats are there. Most of their fans came bandwagon style after Brady emerged. It's not like they had to put up with near what Jets fans have.
