What are your thoughts on Cotchery playing against NE. Think he'll have a big game? How does that match-up look?

No, please don't. Cotchery scored our first TD against the Titans last week. I think he'll be pumped against NE this week. I look for at least one TD from Cotchery on Sunday.

The crowd will be into it.

The Pats don't have a legit #2 CB, so Cotch could be poised for a breakout game.

Rest assured Cotchery will be covered. By now, Belichick is well aware of Jericho Cotchery. My prediction: he still scores a TD.

I believe Barlow was the first score from the 1 yard line. But Cotchery does give the Pats something to think about, as well as L.C., Baker and maybe even Justin McCareins.

They will try to pressure Chad every chance they get but they will be keen in not letting the Jets get deep. They will challenge Mangini to beat them with the run. I believe Mangini will run Barlow a lot more. I duno but he looked good when he was in there againt Tenn.. Hard to say though where Mangini is involved. The game of the brains.

Cotchery is going to do the same thing against New England that he did vs Tennessee: catch enough balls that the Pats cannot focus on shutting down Coles. That's what a good #2 receiver does.

The problem versus New England is never the receivers versus their dbs, but our OL versus Belichickens scheming, which confuses the QB. He'll load up one side, then the ball is snapped and Vrabel drops back into coverage, whereas two plays before in the same look Vrabel comes on the blitz. That can be countered with screens, draw plays, end-arounds etc. Since Mangini came from there we just have to hope he can turn the tables on them and make them look stupid for once.

I don't think it matters that Cotchery is covered or not. Would you really double Cotchery over Coles?
