    Dr.Z is always kinda partial to us, but these power rankings I think are more fair than most I've seen. They seem to be based solely off of what happened so far this season, and only slightly based on previous success, which is evident by the positions of the Seahawks and Pats..

    At leats in these rankings.. The schmos at ESPN won't out us up there unless we go 5-0, because they don't understand parity in the NFL, no matter how much they talk about it...

    If the Jets beat the Pats who cares what they say?

    The Jets would be in sole possession of first place in the AFC East.

    People don't seem to realize that 2 basic rules for being a successful team and putting itself in a position every week to be competitive is 1: Having a very good Quarterback and 2: Having a very good offensive line to PROTECT #1. Why did Mangini draft 2 lineman in the first round? > See rule #1.

    those pricks had us second last before week 1.........quite the jump I would say......if we perform that well every week we wont win every game but we'll certainly be alot beter than everyone thought.
