What are your picks this week? I want to bet against them. The Raiders are NEVER a lock to win.

Thanks, yeah the road domination was amazing! Thankfully the Jets helped that trend by winning on the road. I know there is no official record but I was in vegas so I couldn't post here but I went 5-1-1 this weekend there!!!

    Took:
    Winners
    Rams
    Jax
    Atl
    Jets
    Det

    Loser
KC(For some reason I forgot Herm was their coach for the 5 minutes I decided to make this bet)

    Tie
took the INDY/NYG 2nd half over 24 and it pushed

This week so far I like

    TB+5.5
    NO/Gb OVER
    Jets +7

Here's a free college tip for anyone into betting:

Take Cincinnati plus the points against Ohio State this weekend. They're getting at least 30 points in the game, depending on the sports book.

hmmm, they ended up covering according to the lines I saw when I posted. Maybe the line dropped?

Anyway, I like Denver (-11) tomorrow. Also SF (+3) and Tampa Bay (+6).

    Using the latest lines.

that sucks. It was above 30 when I looked at it, and that's what I was going by. Skin of your teeth either way.

I like KC +11 over Denver, Cincinatti -10.5 over Cleveland, and Tampa vs Atlanta under 35.

whoa, why anyone would have KC this week is beyond me. EVERYTHING is pointing to Denver. Unless you're the kind of person who says "when everything and everyone is going one way...go the other."

Disagree. Huge rivalry game, and KC can run the ball fantastically. Steven Jackson had a huge game, and unlike Jackson, LJ has a nose for the endzone. Wilkins made 6 FGs last week. If 2 of those drives ended in TDs, that game is a blowout.

Huard can do fine. Denver's just not that good. Plus, as much as I hate Herm now, he can still motivate a team, and KC is a team that is ripe to put up a huge performance out of nowhere. Huard is 5-1 career as a starter and can manage an offense. Plummer threw 3 picks last week, and Law and Surtain won't help that cause out. KC's defense slowed Palmer down a ton last week, and Plummer's even worse.

1)KC's QB is Damon Huard, who last started a NFL game in 2000.
    2)KC never wins in Denver.
3)If Denver comes slow out of the gate (like last season against Miami), they take it out on the next few teams they play.
4)KC has Larry Johnson, but no quarterback or WRs, and their OL is greatly diminished.

I'd be surprised if the margin was single digits, and I'd be shocked if KC won.

    I'd put money on it.

Oh, I think I understand. You're one of the Plummer-bashers, who conveniently ignore his successful games and focus on games when he turns the ball over.

I'd like to know how Denver is so much worse than last season, when they dominated the AFC. The loss of Ron Dayne? Courtney Brown?

    Plummer in October last season:

    86/139, 993 yards, 10 TDs, 0 INTs, 107.4 rating.

    Last season, KC at Denver:

Denver wins 30-10. Plummer has solid game, but doesn't have to throw much due to utter domination.

KC is significantly worse than last season. Denver is just as good, if not better.

Denver should bury the Chiefs, especially since they laid an egg in St. Louis last week.

I made a trade for Larry Johnson this weekend and used him today. I also drafted him in the 1st round in another league. Ron Jaworski said to bench Johnson today. I'm glad I didn't take Jaworski's advice.

This KC pick makes up for your BAL-TB disaster of Week 1.
