Is it just me or are more and more stories just loving Chad's performance and wishing him the best of luck for Comeback Player of the Year. So many people look for the bad in athletes, but a lot of reporters from the big sports sites are really rooting for Pennington. They see him as not only a QB that has had to undergo two difficult rehabs ,but as a solid person that deserves success.

Aside from Ditka last night being a tool and wishing bad on everyone most reporters are showing the class and professionalism Chad has shown his entire career. Here is wishing Chad the success he enjoyed a few years ago - and hopefully the entire team and all the fans will get to enjoy the ride.

How can you not root for him? Its a great story and the guy is truly, TRULY a class act. Does not get much better than him (maybe Curtis but thats it)

I wrote him off completely, but I'm pulling like hell for him. Even when writing him off, I always said it would be great if he could somehow pull out of this and come out on top. Now, there is still a long way to go for him to prove he can do it week in and week out, but I certainly hope he can.

It's my privilige to watch him play........somebody has to tell him not to fumble at the f'ing 1 yard line, though. Then it becomes less of a privilige and more of a medical situation for me. That said, I love #10!

That's pretty much the way I see it. I never want to see the "deer-in-the-headlights" look that I saw on his face at Arrowhead last year. That was just horrible... obvious our O-line wasn't prepared and he was an injury waiting to happen... and the look on his face was telling me he knew it too.

Things are different now, with this new O-line we have. And they an only get better from here, at least i'd like to think so. That being the case, and if Chad can remain healthy, he could put up some great numbers this year, especially with our schedule.

I'm so glad for him. I never wanted to count him out, but I had some doubts. Definitely this new regime should be a benefit to him. I hope this can continue.

I have always rooted for and defended Chad, but going thru a 2nd surgery to repair a throwing shoulder everyone including myself will have speculation of how good he can throw the ball and I was also going to write him off, but he has worked hard and he did the job against the Titans this past Sunday.

I have my confidence back with Chad and I believe our season isn't going to be as bad as I thought it was. Not going to re-neg my perdictions for the team in wins because right now they need two more for 3 & for my dream pick they need four more for 5.

But I am very happy that Chad looks like he is back and better than ever.

Who wouldn't love this story. It would be great if he had a great injury free year. I am totally rooting for him.

I admit last season, and the season before that I said negative things towards Chad, but I never gave up my hope and faith in him. I'm very glad he did great last week, and I hope he can continue leading the Jets O down the field the rest of the season. Let's see how he does in NE....

Chad was awesome. I didn't see a single bad throw. Most of his incompletions were balls that were knocked away last second and I found myself wanting the Jets to pass much more than run on every single down. That short-passing game is really a great match for his talents.

That said, he's being rooted for because it's a great story. Washed up QB wins one. Honestly, with him at the helm, I think we have a chance in every game.

I loved Chad ever since the KC game he started (his first start) He just has so much poise and he is such a class act, he is a player that will put the team on his back and still manage a way to be successful.

    Mr. Indestructable= Chad Pennington

I wonder what folks would say after our next game....

Lets hope he can keep it up. His health determines our success this year.
