If the Jets, are 5-6 going into December, Rex is writing a resume.

Jets have no business being less than 3-1 going into week 5 (barring calamity)

If we are 5-6, that would be GREAT considering who we played in that middle stretch.

How in the world do you know that? Geez, we have not seen him take one snap. Lets look ahead and criticize Geno for not taking the sack and throwing the interception. Better then, how about that fumble against the browns in the 4th quarter. Yeah, crystal ball rules.

    you are fucking nuts.

What in god's name are you smoking? Unless you are just saying this shit to mess with people or something.. there's no way anyone could actually believe that.

In 2010, they went all in and assembled a balanced roster that was vastly more talented than the one we will see this fall - and even they barely won 11 games. This team has only won 11 games 4 times in it's history for christ's sake. Outside of 2010's team of which there is no comparison to today's team - the great Joe Namath in 68, the freaking sack exchange in 85, and Bill Parcells/BB in 98 are the only times this team was able to manage 11 wins and they were all struggles to get that many wins.

The offense could be worst in the league this year. No team with an offense this bad can even dream of winning 11 games. Holmes might be out for longer than people think, Sanchez is terrible.... A transition to a new system is tough for any offense, let alone one as young and devoid of talent as this one.

I think they win more games than this, but I think they are more likely to finish with 1 win than they are 11, that's borderline insanity and you are in for a long year if you really have that kind of hope...I suggest picking up a new sunday hobby now so you wont feel so terrible when they are 2-6 in november.

I have no clue at all.. But I can pretty much guarantee that Geno will turnover the ball a lot less than Sanchez...

Air Raid or not, 45 TD and 6 INT is nothing to sneeze at. The year before that he had 31 TD and 7 INT and his sophomore season he had 24 TD and 7 INT. He just doesn't turn the ball over. His legs will help him get out of bad situations if the pocket collapses, something that Sanchez never did. If Sanchez learned how to take a sack or throw it away, he probably would have had 7 to 10 less picks then he did last year.

MM is gonna ease Geno into the NFL. He isn't going to throw the whole kitchen sink at him. He will install some base packages for Week 1 and see how Geno does and expand each week. Similar to how RG3 and Russell Wilson had the playbooks presented to them last year.

Elite defense + Limited Turnovers = 8-8 or 9-7. Now that we have some running backs that can actually take the load off of the QB and that are explosive, we can be an above average team this year.

    Wild Card is a possibility.

I see them going into the bye on a 5 game losing streak. Additional loss to NE and another from TB, Buffalo or Titans. 3-7 at the break.

Worst in the league this year?????.

They won 6, with Sparano, gates,Gilyard,Rueland, :rofl2: 1 win, you are delusional.

Tell you what, you send me a hundred for every win over 1, and I will send you a hundred for every win under 11, or are you just yapping?

Why dont you explain to the class how Marty and health, is a downgrade from Sparano, and not needing Gates,GilyardRueland.

Lol.He still put up less yards per attempt, and a lower QB rating than Sanchez...who...didnt throw 1/3 rd of his passes to Tavon Austin.

Geno is a good prospect. But....right now, he is a backup.sorry.

Oh, and you just said, Sanchez has no legs..really?

What has buttfumble showed anybody the last 2 seasons to think the jets will be in the playoffs. He's best at completing passes to the defense maybe he'll win us the number 1 pick.

They were on the team roster when I checked. I guess it depends if they make the team. According to the ESPN roster they are there.

Okay... somebody has WAY to much faith in Mornhinweg.

Just because we managed 6 wins under a bad OC doesn't mean we'll get another 5 with a better one.

Our passing game won't be that much better. It'll improve receivers will catch and hopefully our starting QB will make his mark often, but there isn't much going for us in that regard.

To me this is what NY gets as of what I'm hearing about in June.

    vs TB- W
    @ NE- L
    vs BUF-W
    @ TEN-W
    @ ATL-L
    vs PIT-L
    vs NE-L
    @ CIN-L
    vs NO-W
    @ BUF-W
    @ BAL- L
    vs MIA- W
    vs OAK-W
    @ CAR-L
    vs CLE-W
    @ MIA-L

this team can be on a range from 7-9 to 9-7 depending on if some teams are in the down and outs more than we initially thought (I'm looking at you Pittsburgh and baltimore!) I had them beat NO on the premise that the pass rush will turn their line into swiss cheese, and I had them lose to carolina on the premise that they'll screw up something at some point so why not Newton and crew?

Lets not get carried away one way or another here, we've got a good defense and a suspect (somewhat improved) offense, we're looking at a mediocre to average team here, 8-8 sounds perfect to me.

    Carolina, and Miami. Really?

You have my first four, thiugh I think given the new offense(no film, no time) the Jets can steal NE.

The Jers will beat Pitt.and are head and shoulders better than Cincy.

Those are mostly gut feelings admittedly, just me acknowledging the patterns I have witnessed from being a Jets fan.

Carolina... feels like a trap game. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they beat them, something made me want to put that down as win too... but then I remembered I'm a fan of the Jets. They WILL screw up a game they should win, I just happened to pick that one.

Miami, we'll catch one of those streaky games Tanny gets sometimes, something stupid will happen we'll manage to lose one against them... but soundly beat them in another.

Wins against some of the AFC north teams are possibility but I'm more inclined to think they'll lose in match of wills against them. I don't know about the Jets being head and shoulders better the Bengals, they seem to be better offensively and on paper have a good D but I'll have to look into them more.
