I'm confused, why did the Patriots resign Jonathan Smith today if they just used him for information?
If the Pats were using him for information on the Bills there'd be no reason to re-sign him, as he'd have no new information on the Bills.
Maybe they re-signed him so the Bills can't go on with their complaint. Sure wouldn't look good to cry tampering with the Jets while they are up to shenanigans themselves. I'm just saying..... http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=11336
Didn't the Pats tell Branch he could go seek a trade? Doesn't that talk involve talking picks? Or did the Pats just give him permission to find the biggest contract offer he could?
Why wouldn't Seattle also be charge with tampering. I remebering hearing John Clayton say that Seattle had offered a 2nd and a late round pick. How would he know that if Seattle didn't tell him. This is BS and it'll go away just the Pats will this year.
Becasue they are trying to save face since they are going after the Jets with tampering allegations!! The Pats days are coming to an end and they know it. ats_suck:
