Having Cromartie on the team has been a really unusual experience for me. I didn't like him at first, but his eccentricity has won me over and he is now one of my favourite players. If he really has turned his life around and is set up for a long and comfortable life after football, then that is great news.

Cro used to be a player I always cited as a reason why I hate the Jets, but now I wish he were on the other side of the rivalry.

Cro was finally able to separate himself from Revis last year which had a lot to do with it I think. The fact all the balls were going at Wilson and not him like they did when Revis played didn't hurt either.

Shit, good thing Tanny's gone or he might've extended a couple of Cro's kids...

I've always been a believer in Antonio Cromartie the football player. What he's done off the field such as having children with multiple woman etc. is not something that I judge a football player on. I just appreciate this mans athletic ability as a shut down corner. Although it is nice to hear and read reports such as this one. Goes to show that Cromartie has matured as not only a football player but also as a man. Antonio Cromartie is the main reason why I'm not hell-bent over losing Revis. I understand that Revis was our greatest/most dominating Jet of all-time and not to take anything away from Revis himself but how many previous SB teams have featured the leagues greatest cornerback? I just believe letting him go after an ACL injury, saving a boat load in cap space along with a first round draft pick will help our franchise moving forward. In short having a true number one corner with down right lockdown ability in Cro is something to be amped about in it's own right. Now we just went out and drafted the Nation's number one corner. Could be much worse. I refuse to sleep on Kyle Wilson as well. Another first round draft pick. Kid is only 26 years of age and heading into his 4th season. Expecting Wilson to come into his own as one of our key defensive pieces this up coming season.

Great read on Cromartie and sorry for the long winded post just had me thinking about our CB situation.

Good for Cro, unfortunately for him it took too long and he has 9 million kids w/ 9 million women. I hope he always takes care of that responsibility first.

Good for him. I could do without the writer's almost mocking tone, though. He's likely living paycheck-to-paycheck like most of the rest of us.
