    He's still the only NY Jets QB ever to reach and win a SB. The hard thing to believe is that Joe still is a fan of the Jets. Perhaps not of the homeristic variety but a fan nevertheless.

    I know he's not the most fun to listen to now (although he's not often wrong) but you still have to respect the guy for what he did for this team. I know it was a long time ago but there are a lot of teams who haven't ever won a Super Bowl or even been to the Super Bowl.

    You know when I watched that HBO Special a few years back that was the 1st thing I noticed. He had a rifle attached to his shoulder. He was the original gunslinger.

    In his mind, he's the quarterback. He wants the team to win as much or more than the most rabid fan does. I have monumental respect for the man. Many more, Joe!
