Boudreau, Quenneville and MacLean are names as the finalists for this year's Jack Adams. Last year when Paul was a finalist I said from the outset that I thought Ken Hitchcock was the best candidate, and he duly won. This year, I think it will be a travesty if MacLean doesn't get it.

Maclean deserves it, especially with the injuries to his best players

I'm with you man. I still haven't recovered. Also haven't watched 1 second of hockey since, just can't stomach it right now. Didn't watch the locker clean out interviews. I read a few newspaper articles about it, sent a few angry tweets to players/media types but that's about it for now.

He did a decent enough job, but the big omission for me in the Jack Adams finalists was Michel Therrien. Montreal went from bottom of the East last year to winning the NE Division and second in the conference.

gotta say i feel for ya.......as a Ranger fan I've experienced my fair share of misery....but going down like that would've sent me directly to counseling and a complete withdrawal from sports spectatorship for a pretty long time

What would have sealed the deal was the 5 minute boarding penalty on Luc-dick they didn't call when tried to kill Gunnarson...

Crosby wearing a red jersey like a QB in practice, no contact, can't believe nobody hits him

We're playing against nine fucking men AGAIN. Some of the calls and non calls in this series have been a fucking joke. I have no fucking idea how the spear on Condra wasn't called, if one of ours had done that to Crosby it would have been a game misconduct.

Partly because he moves the puck fast and doesn't give too many opportunities for a hit, partly because of the matches he has primarily faced - Turris is hardly a checking machine, and Karlsson isn't the most physical blueliner in the world.

I'm really happy with the forecheck tonight, I think it has worked well. I think lots of players are having really good games, but Turris needs to hit the fucking target. We're dominating in the circle and the transition game has been awesome at times, there's lots going right and but for ManBearPig nicking one against us AGAIN, we'd be going into the third thinking it's there for the taking. Which it still is - the third has been by far the Sens' best period all year, and now the season's on the line.

That has been true, but we've missed the net so many times it's silly. You can't dominate the way we have and then not get your shots on target.
