I was going to wait til I got to work tomorrow to post but I'm still pretty disgusted. What's their deal with playoff OT? In the last decade, I can remember two OT wins. TWO. Gaborik obviously last year, and Michal Roszival in 2OT against Buffalo in '07. How are they that fucking inept in OT. Dear God, at this point I'm just assuming it's a loss when they play to a tie at the end of regulation.

Should have done that a long time ago. He's doing a poor job with a good roster in a weak conference.

Its now to the point of a total disaster...I mean...they cant even get shots from the point. Its like its not even happening. If you didnt know they were on the power play you would just think they are doing a decent job keeping the puck out of their end.

Someone has to answer to this. Im so tired of Torts after the game shaking his head at the execution of the power play. I like the guy...but this is beyond belief.

About a decade ago..the real fear of not having a power play is that teams would take advantage by being overly aggressive. Thats not the case in todays hockey. Im speechless on how a power play will keep this team possibly from advancing.

rangers are going to win game two. they got this lousy effort out of their system,
i saw boston winning puck battles all night. i really think they can win this series regardless of tonight. split is a must though. woulda been nice tonight.

Bad loss for the Rangers, but its a typical loss...Meaning a garbage powerplay and just some horrendous control of the puck...We were way out of zone on the two goals by the Bruins.

Very disappointing considering how well Lundqvist played

Not to beat a dead horse but do you guys see how hesitant Nash is? He triple cluthces just to make a pass now. No fluidity ( is that a word) to his game right now at all.

Hard to blame Hank, but he at least should have stopped Frankensteins floater, but he was insane in OT when it seemed like he was the only Ranger on the ice...this fuckin PP is killing us, when are those 2 idiots going to realize this...Pyatt - Boyle - Dorsett was our best line...Luc-dick committed 27 infractions out there and wasn't penalized, the officiating was weak, Moore's penalty was questionable...

The fact that the Rangers got a great chance from the top of the slot off that intereference made them call that. I htought Moore played his worst game as a Ranger last night by the way

Skating like his stick is stuck up his ass, he continues to lose the puck every time he tries to stickhandle, like similar poles of a magnet repel

    beat on jd....

to me nash looks like he is hurt.

the rangers are better than the bruins, imo. they should rebound nicely. only thing is u wonder how much life the capital series sucked out of them.

Eminger taking that stupid, stupid penalty in OT did them in. Same thing as Torts said was what I was thinking immediately after the game. Before the interference on a reckless pinch from Eminger the Rangers had a pretty nice attack going in OT. They controlled play in the offensive zone well enough to generate some chances. But then Eminger totally misreads the play, pinches in and gets forced to practically haul down the forward to prevent a 2 or 3 on 1. Getting pretty tired of that guy, he's made some awful decisions these playoffs.

Quite the contrary, Stralman has been my biggest surprise. Between he and Eminger, I figured it was a near toss up for who gets dumped down if and when Staal got healthy during the regular season. Strals has been ultra consistent. Good for him.

I stand corrected...It wasn't Eminger on that penalty, actually. It was on Dorsett, not that it makes much of a difference.

There was a few times Nash should have shot the puck when he passed, makes me wonder how bad he is really hurt.

IF Marc Staal EVER comes back. I think the injury is a lot worst then they are making it out. Speaking of Staal's did anyone see Eric go down yesterday? he went knee to knee with someone in that international tourny.

Back to the Rangers, I was not impressed with Boston, on the same note the Rangers looked totally flat in OT. I am thinking Sunday is a MUST WIN. Can’t go back to NY down 2-0 again.
