I'm a big fan of Adult Swim. Archer, Venture Brothers, ATHF are great if you know the characters. Best all time though has to be Seinfeld. Consistently funny and very quotable. also big props to all of you for not saying Friends.
Sanford and Son All in the Family The Simpsons (In it's prime) Monty Python's Flying Circus Father Ted Blackadder (Love that it's on Netflix) Fawlty Towers In Living Color Taxi SNL (early 80's to mid 90's) I'm gonna lose my man card and putting myself out there for a lifetime of ridicule but The Golden Girls... yes I said it.
Seinfeld or the Simpsons. Father Ted from a British perspective (also love The Thick of It, Blackadder, Peep Show and Spaced).
Father Ted is unbelievably funny... Dougal might be one of the most unintentionally funny charcaters in TV history. Father Jack is a classic and Ted is priceless. I still think my favorite episode is when they get stuck in the caravan with Graham Norton.
Definitely a classic show. Hard to pick one fav episode but I like the one where they give up smoking, drinking and roller blading for lent. Or the one with the milk man "Ted, you forgot your brick!" Kills me every time. Also someone else mentioned it: Archer. That show is so freaking funny. Love it. I've started watching Adventure Time as well. It's very, very weird but some legit laughs in there for sure.
Interesting how people's choice really reflect there ages and the era's in which they watch TV. So I will do a then and now Then, Sanford &Son, All in the Family In the middle. Jerry, George, Cramer, Today,,,,Hands down, Big Bang Theory.
Arrested Development is my #1 comedy. Followed, in no specific order, by South Park Seinfeld The Office (UK original)
Fawlty Towers has to be up there. I don't know where 'Allo 'Allo! falls by reviewers/critics but it's a personal favorite of mine
