Another positive: Hagelin. True he clanged it off the crossbar, but that guy was all over the ice, fighting for every loose puck, and played with a ton of effort. Everyone should have had half the heart as this kid. Since you mention Stephan, he seems to be the only player capable of winning a big face-off right now.
I though Zuccarello played well again also.......he and Hagelin, Stepan are the only players out there playing with a little confidence on offense. Nash and Callahan are thinking too much and, well, Richards sucked again last night too.... as far as faceoffs go...to me it seemed like the Rangers lost just about every one.
Don't be silly, obviously I meant the #1 player in the game after the force of nature that is Michael Del Zotto. (For the record, I have no strong feelings either way on MDZ. The previous sentence was intended purely humorously and should in no way be taken as me taking sides in what appears to be an entirely ridiculous argument, of which I wish to have no part.) For some reason, during the course of his injury Karlsson appears to have forgotten how to play on the PP.
They probably just want to get out of round one. They won't be scared of Karlsson on tonight's performance. I don't remember the last time he played so badly, but this is a back to back in his fourth game back after a serious injury. He gets a pass.
Rounding into game shape, the kid is a force, Isles finished off Pens, Fleury is their achilles heel...
Ailurophile? If we win, it'll be 2 Goals in 2 Games. If we lose, it'll be 1 Goal in 2 Games. I thought the changes we made this past offseason were supposed to make us score more?
