No...Marrone is an awful coach. He nearly lost to Maine among others. He should be worried about RU defense and ST migrating to the Pats and continuing to destroy him every year. In regards to us, we have a much better D than WVU had...especially considering that once they were going to the B12 they knew that was D was going out the window. Marrone's success against Geno specifically came more on the weak OL they had. I am not thrilled with our OL, but I also don't see our OL being as poor as WVU's was at their weak points. In regards to Manuel, he played in the weak ACC...not impressed. I am thrilled to have Geno over Manuel or Nassib...thrilled. I follow CFB closely and I'm not being a Jets homer when I say that.
lol. ok he took a program that was underwater and had been terrible forever. Immediately lost a bunch of players because he added discipline to the program and returned them to national relevance quickly. Won bowl games, put people in the NFL. Right, terrible.
100% right! If any u watched FSU last season and seen EJ play. Then u would agree that he is along term project that might not work out. Geno on the other hand is not the perfect profile QB with all the intangables and a rocket arm. He is a guy that IS pro ready and can play in a NFL pro-type system. His maturity issues is what made him fall down to the second round in which I feel was WAY overblown cause the kid was jerked around to believe he was gonna be a top 5 pick and then does not get drafted on day 1. Anyone would be pissed if that happen to them!
Well, last year WV lost 5 of their last 7 games. Do you think the Big East plays tougher games than the ACC??
