Cimini's column from this morning mentions that Rhodes was carted off after the final play with a sprained ankle, x-rays were negative, and Rhodes says it's not serious.
Hey everyone, new poster here. I was at the game yesterday. I saw Rhodes after the game. He was fine. He was just chillin in his pinstripe suit.
Rhodes Did he talk to you about his injury? So because he is chillin in his pinstripe suit, he cannot be injured? I guess injured players do not wear suits, I guess this is where the whole depth thing comes into play if it is a bad injury, bring Eric Smith in and bring back Maddox, assuming he has not caught on with another team.
thanks for the update guys. thank god he's okay. hopefully he will not miss any time at all although i have a feeling that he will miss at least 1-2 games
This is from todays Daily News FS Kerry Rhodes twisted his left ankle on the final play of the game and was carted to the X-ray room. He said it's not serious
Well ASScue, he was jumping and hollerin around with about 10 other guys, so I assumed it wasnt very serious if it was anything at all.
He was very estatic after the game talking to reporters...Hopefully it doesn't swell or anything, need him for Sunday pretty bad.
INJURIES: There were at least two injuries: LG Pete Kendall left in the second quarter with a pulled hamstring. He didn't return; he was replaced by Norm Katnick. It wasn't mentioned when I went to look for the quote. But regardless, congratulations...you get a gold star. You should print this thread out, frame it and hang it above your mantle. Then everyone who comes to your house will know you were the first one to post the info that Kerry Rhodes is OK. In the mean time, I'm submitting your post for a pulitzer in journalism.
How about Abe and his injuries? Your welcome Atlanta for the often injured and seldom seen superstar. Good luck!
