Who's our feature back? Or will this be as 50/50 as you get? both players have been effective when given a chance but how much can we take from that small sample size? What's ivorys contract like?

Goodson is better for our WCO I think.

Whoever is more effective and whoever stays healthy. Idzik is all about that competition.

All I know is that we're set at RB. We have 4 solid players at that position.

Depending on the opponent and game situation the primary may shift. Hopefully keep all fresh including using Powell. Mcknight either gets it, special team only or is a goner

Pretty sure Ivory will be #1 on the depth chart. It will be interesting how the carries are split between Goodson and Powell.

Ivory makes more money, so Ivory. Joe McKnight will be joing Mark Sanchez on the streets.

Ivory is definitely our number one.

He just signed a 3 year $10 million contract. That's starter money

    Seriously...?

If I had to choose between these two..it would be Goodson.
But I have a feeling it will be neither.

Powell and McKnight are still in the running.
And let's not count out whatever free agent RB they sign.

But my honest answer is I don't like any of the choices and the running game will be pedestrian at best.

And that will put alot of pressure on the QB, whomever they wins the "competition."

I think the coaching staff as well as the front office has set the quarterbacks up for failure.

Ivory = Beast Mode East. So excited. All we need to do is resign Bray Bray and pick up a good TE and we've got the tools to compete. We're bouncing back strong this year.

Ivory and Goodson will see the bulk of the carries. Powell will see few carries unless someone doesn't perform up to expectations, or there is an injury. Same goes for McKnight.

ivory reminds me of when turner left san diego to go to atlanta. you knew he would be good just needed the carries.
ivory runs hard, and is really going to benefit from getting more carries and getting into a rythm.

goodson is going to be the change of pace 3rd down back.

powell will be the 3rd back getting 5ish carries a game

I wish.... he is just steady slipping.. they called him a 2nd round talent before the draft. but as for the thread.. i say Ivory think he will explode.

    This is what I see.

McKnight will either be regulated to special packages, or used only on ST.
