    I had no idea pro-sports leagues were tax exempt. That's ridiculous. They should absolutely be paying their fair share.

    Any organization that promotes the development of a sports organization or the development of sports is considered a tax exempt org.

    I didn't know about this. NFL is a lucrative business and they have to pay the tax.

    I went for a ride once in a restored WWII B-17 Flying Fortress bomber. It too was tax-deductible.

    It doesn't really matter...

    All of the money ultimately flows through to the 30 teams which are taxable entities...

    Tax is still being paid...

    They pay at the team level....

    Its like partnerships...the partnership pays no tax but the income flows to the shareholders and they pay tax...

    There are no Shareholders in a partnership.
