I love it everyone was saying ohh we suck we are just rebuilding blah blah blah, now everyone is talking about maybe a playoff spot or atleast a run, chill out it was one game against a pretty bad team. Though before the season started I said the Jets will shock the NFL, so JETS FU*K YEAAAAA!!!!!
J-E-T-S playoffs this year baby you'll see, and I'm not saying because we won our first game, I said this way before our first game.

Mostly just the shut-ins and crazy people. Sanity Central understands that this was Game One. A real nice win in Game One, but just the same, we ought to wait at least until Game Two before we start angling for home field advantage.

It is nice to see all the optimism around here now. I agree with you and have also said from the beginning that this is most definitely a playoff year for the jets, now lets go beat the pats next sunday.

FYI: The Bills, Dolphins, Chiefs, Cowboys, Lions, Falcons, Saints, and 49ers all started 1-0 last season and failed to qualify for postseason play.

Hold on a bit there. Lets reel in the playofff talk and get back to reality. This was a nice win, and there were good performances from alot of skill players. There also were alot of mistakes, that better teams would capitilize on. Our running game needs a tremendous amount of work, and that will certainly hinder us against better defenses we'll face in the coming weeks.

This is a work in progress, and will be a bumpy road, trust me. I still don't see this a team making the playoffs, but I think we'll be respectable, and could actually come close. We have a lot to be optimistic about, and for me, thats enought right now.

I am not saying were going anywhere jsut because of this game, I'm talking about all the doubters who are saying it now because of one win, just because we won one game against the Titans there all changing their minds, a little to early. But I said I smell playoffs or pretty close before the season started. And all the people who said no are now all gettin excited, because we beat the titans, the titans dude.....just the titans.

Nothing wrong with exuberance, but you're kind of all over the board in this thread.

We're going to get our asses kicked by the Pats next week, count on it.

I still hold to my adjusted 5 win season. (I originally called for 4 wins, since I thought we would lose to the Titans. I said if we beat them, we could win 5.)

I am not about to change my mind yet. People are going to be having fits next week when we are getting smacked around by the Pats. If we don't fix the running game by Tuesday afternoon, we are in a lot of trouble.

And we are not going to get NE to commit multiple penalties like Tennessee did today, to bail us out.

people who are criticizing him please stop and savor his optimism, because next week or 2 weeks from now or when ever we lose a game, and the optimism is substituted for extreme negativity we will be crying for the optimism back. Breath of freash air. Savor it please.

njoyed today' game -- the offense was diverse and realy mixed it up -- chad threw the ball better than he has inn a long time -- his touch and timing were incredible into tight coverages. The D was hitting hard and fast -- really fast -- this team is better than most people think and we will be in a lot of games this year.

New england ran all over buffalo today so it will be a nice test to eally see what we have next week.
