In this thread, make a bold statement about the upcoming draft.

    Mine is:

Both top guards (Warmack and Cooper) will fall out of the top 20. I still don't buy that teams will waste high first round picks on offensive guards, no matter how good they are.

Dee Milliner drops to us and we trade back with the Falcons so they can select him and we end up getting a boatload of picks in return

I am not a big fan of any of these predictions but I wanted to play to.

Geno Smith will not be in the top 20. Maybe a longshot but you wanted bold. Damontre Moore will be a 3rd round pick. This one is possible. Pretty big slide. Manuel and Barkley both go before Geno. I am not ready to predict this but it is possible. Tyrann Mathieu drops into the 6th round or later. Probably not likely but possible. He has a upside in the return game but I bet a lot of teams have taken him off their board, Mike Scott goes before the Jets pick in the third. Tyler Bray drops into the 6th round because of attitude. I don't know about this prediction. I have heard complaints about him but I have not seen him dropping anywhere near this far. But one of the QBs should be in for a big drop and given his attitude issues he is my choice for the big drop.

Mayock has DJ Hayden as his #1 DB ahead of Milliner. I guess that means his stock is falling and may not be a top 10.

My prediction: Jets get 4 immediate starters from this draft and 2 role players.

Jets pick 2 defensive players before drafting any Offense.

Mayock is the only person with Hayden ranked ahead of Milliner. So I don't put much stock into that. Also reading lots of insiders saying the Falcons FO has "an extremely high" draft grade on Milliner and is looking to attempt to trade up to secure him

Geno is drafted in the top 10.

ATL and MIN have a bidding war for our #9
and we end up with both of MIN 1st round
    picks at #23 and #25.

We trade Revis to TB for their 2013 1st at #13,
    and their 2014 2nd and 3rd.

    1. One QB in the first round at the most.
    2. The jets will draft at #9 one of these players: Warmach, Austin, Ansah or Mingo. I just don't see Jordan falling to pick 9.
    3. In the 2nd round the Jets will draft either E J Manuel or Ryan Nassib if they are there.
    4. Seven OL men will be drafted in the 1st round.

I agree with you. Just a couple days ago people were saying how Warmack was an elite guard and whatever and now people are ranking Cooper over him. I'm not saying that their not good, but people say one thing one day then out of the blue it changes.

My prediction is: Jets trade back the #9 with either the Vikings or the Rams for some good change. Also, we trade Revis to the Buccs for more than we expected. Idzik has a solid draft, racking out 5+ solid starters.

    One can only hope, right?

But really I think this can happen if we do get all those picks.

    Here is my boldest prediction,
A)Jets 1st pick is at 13 with a trade down for the 9th pick
    B) First 2 picks are Offensive players, one is E J Manuel and an OG or OT
    C) we draft 2 OLB, a Safety and a CB with the next picks

We do this ^ during our #9 selection.

But during this same selection we trade STL our #9 and our 4th
round pick for Sam Bradford, STL then uses the #9 to draft Geno Smith
who is still on the board.
