I am now of the opinion that the two of you deserve, appreciate, love, respect and need one another.

For what purpose, I have no fucking clue or idea. But have at it, by all means.

Whatever keeps the two of you rockin'.

Not going to lie this looks smarter than Metlife. The 50's are not club on one giving a potential cheaper ticket. Not sure of pricing and what not but very smart if that is true.

    Better options for fans

wow just took a look at the site for the new san fran stadium, very different. very quirky...

but it looks a gajillion times more interesting than the mausoleum.

however i think that every stadium should have a guy who travels around the club and suite type areas and randomly chooses people to get tackled, like office linebacker type stuff.

My friend just hit 30 years as a Yankee STH. They are giving two him free passes to 2 of the Clubs which is $30 combined x 81 games. He's getting his name on a brick in Yankee Stadium, runs around the bases after the game with his nephew, batting practice on the field when the Yankees are on the road and his name on the scoreboard during a game. The Jets do nothing, nothing to commerate our anniversaries. Once again, another example of how Woody runs his corporation and we are nothing more then customers. Its all lip service. Bastards

Not only is it more interesting looking but b/c the suites/clubs are all on one side they don't need to build the stadium a mile high on top of them so the upper deck seats are good seats like our old Stadium.

The upper deck setbacks in new stadiums is just terrible, They're so afraid to include overhangs to the middle and field decks that they just destroy the fan enjoyability factor and opponent intimidation factors for the higher seats. Memo to dumbfuck architects: some people actually want to sit under some cover

Well, no. We did get one free monogrammed baseball hat with your section on it.

Didn't matter if you had one seat or fourteen. You got one free hat and then if you wanted more, you could buy them for $15.95.

So come on now. Woody is generous to us guys.

Believe me the Yankees haven't done much until recently. Mostly because they are struggling big time to fill up the stadium unless the do 99 cent tickets through stubhub.

I once read somewhere (I wish I could remember where) that the reason for this is building codes have changed and it won't allow the upper decks to be built over the lower levels.

Giants Stadium was grandfathered in. All the more reason why the Jets should have called the Giants' bluff and let them move out, then we pick up the lease and renovate the building in green and white. Gone now.

I don't think someone would renew there tickets and spend 15K for this gesture alone. And the Yanks have struggled to fill up the stadium since the new place, its not something new. Now, if they suck this year, then they might get desperate. My point is, they know how to treat customers, Woody does not

The thing Woody never understood is that you keep your old, loyal STHer customers by treating them right. And you atttempt to build more fan base around them in order to fill more seats. But it all starts with retaining the good, seniority people you've had all these years. They're the ones who staying with you through thick and thin and if you treat them right, they'll still do that.

Woody did the opposite. Uprooted and fucked over his most loyal STHer fanbase and kicked them out of the good seats in an attempt to attract a whole new band-wagon newbie fanbase. He grossly miscalculated by thinking the old timers would put up with this immense screw job and he'd have it all.... newbies sitting in good seats and seniority people still showing up for games in the nosebleeds.

Well now the fickle newbies are running for the escalator after we stink up the field and the old timers are doing the same mostly because of the screwing they took. The old timers might have stayed (like we've done for the past, what... 40 years)? But after the screwing they took on top of stinking up the field, they're saying, "I've finally had it. Take your stadium and shove it Woody."

IMHO the thing you have NEVER grasped is Woody is a billionaire so he thinks like a billionaire & since he was born with the golden spoon in his mouth he can never/ever understand the average Joe so to speak
