I think we should try to get a 2014 first round pick for Revis. More teams would be willing to give up that pick anyway. Then maybe if we don't completely tank next year (5-6 wins) we will have some ammo to move up into the top of the first round. That's saying someone will be willing to give their pick up.
Besides Bridgewater and Johnny Footbal if the declare? I love Aaron Murry. Tajh Boyd is another decent option. After them, it gets murky. Of course I know you know all this, but it's a great QB, class at the top right back to the so-so guys after. Most are just spouting off an opinion they read elsewhere. Next years class is better, but better does not mean you'll find good QB's later in the draft.
I want Boyd if we can't get Bridgewater. Even at this very early stage, I seriously doubt he'll make it to the 2nd. Gabbert, Ponder, Locker, Freeman and perhaps Vick/Foles only have 1 year left to prove their worth. Plus all the QB needy teams this year like Raiders, Cardinals and Bills might not get their franchise QB. David Fales is another QB I like. He's an accurate thrower with a quick release and doesn't wait for his receiver to be open before throwing the ball. San Jose State went from 5-7 to 11-2 including a bowl game win.
I think we can draft Johnny Manziel next year in the mid to late 1st round I think he's gonna struggle this year but have a good draft process and will have a slight fall in the draft
We will never have a top 3 draft pick during the right year. And next year is the right year. Bridgewater or Manziel please!
Depends on how everything spins for us this year.. Luck, injury, Revis trade, position in draft, I think if we cut sanchez next year we will try and make a move up for Manziel
