Salary cap hit of a trade before June 1 is $13 million...after June 1 is is $9 mil this and $4mil next. Really depends on the hit they want to take.

im not sure where to start here... revis is lucky to be in wayne chrebets category? wow...

chrebet took over and won games... okay and revis does not?

its really bizarre to me how you can be such a sanchez apologist and such a revis hater. so the best guy on the team sucks and the worst guy on the team deserves more time....

even though the worst guy on the team will make 2 million more than the best guy on the team this year..

    gotcha... brilliance.

so you are saying cb is NOT a game changing position? in this passing league, ok if you say so.

also please dont complain about the 1 guy on the team who can stand his ground doing it. if you never ask for a raise and just accept whatever your boss decides to give you then you can talk, but if you do that then you are probably not smart enough to listen to.

EVERYONE, especially guys who only play for 3 to 8 years must maximize their earning potential.. thats why devito left, does that make him a bastard and terrible guy? no it makes him a guy who realizes he only has so much time to make hay and he needs to make it while he can.

ive never seen you as an absurd poster before, even when so many others did but your stance on the sanchez and revis situations is a bit bizarre.

The Tampa Tribune doesn't expect the Bucs to entertain a Darrelle Revis trade for a few more weeks.

Beat writer Roy Cummings thinks the Bucs will see what else free agency has to offer while also waiting for the Jets' asking price to come down. Cummings thinks a trade could come to fruition around the time of April's NFL Draft. There is one thing of which we're certain: Revis will be traded at some point.

So, now what? Are we going to keep Revis in limbo and exile until April?? Our franchise player? And as we already know, Tampa is not coming off the 13th pick. Idzik should have taken the 2014 first rounder plus a 2nd or 3rd this year and been happy with it.

Now we have completely alienated our franchise player, our GM has already been proven to be a liar (after the combine fiasco where he claimed he was not 'actively shopping' revis only to hear from every GM off record that they were pushing him left and right) and have no guarantees of even moving him come Draft Day.

I have been very patient with Idzik but this is one situation he has completely botched so far. It will be interesting to see if he shows some humility and starts kissing up to Revis as he should. If there is any chance Revis remains on the team in the current climate, he is walking come week 16.

Fact: You put the same Revis and Sanchez nonsense in every thread.

Not worth putting forth any other points. You'll come back with the same anti-Revis rhetoric you spill into all the other threads.

Lol stop making up some BS point to try and make it sound like Wayne Chrebet is better than Revis. You're right Revis the cornerback has 0 touchdowns at end of games there fore Chrebet was the better player.

He has had 1 1000 yard receiving seasons. You're trying to make a point of Revis not being a top 5 corner of all time. Chrebet isn't even a top 100 receiver of all time. You put him on the Broncos and he's a number 4 receiver. What team can you put Revis on right now where he won't be a number 1.

I like how you completely ignore what i said. What are you even saying now I have no idea. Are you trying to type consequential? Are you saying that WR is a more important position than corner? Even in that sense I'll take the guy who is best at his position over a guy who's overrated by fans and not even a number 1 receiver on his own team.

Yeah but then you went on to say Revis is barely in the same ballpark as Revis. "Impact wise, revis is barely in Chrebets ball park," Read your own insane thoughts. You name a top 5 list of all time Jets and leave out Curtis Martin.
Then insult someone for calling you out on it and say that you were obviously doing it chronologically despite the fact you named it your top 5 Jets. In your top 5 you name players who wouldn't get a single vote for the hall of fame and leave out the Jets recent hall of fame inductee and Revis who is one of 2 players on the current Jets with a shot of going in. If Revis plays 2 or 3 more seasons like 09-11 and a couple more less stellar years he is in the HOF. Yet somehow he is just on par with a guy who had over 1000 receiving yards just once in his career.

One who cannot spell should not make fun of other people's English...also, to put Pennington ahead of Revis pretty much says it all. And you "icing" theory is absurd - so basically any receiver who can catch a first down to end the game is better than any defensive player according to your dizzying logic...

Sorry to break your hearts guys but you are looking at

    2013 Second Round Pick

    OR

    2014 First Round Pick

That's really about it. Idzik wants the 2013 First, but Dom won't give it up. It could come down to draft day when Dom shows Idzik he is going to use the 13th overall selection.

All this talk of "two firsts" and what not... not happening guys.

Of the two I would definately take the 1 in 2014 - its a much better draft class and we will need it after next season!

Calm down, what are you Revis mom? You have been "very patient" with Idzik? Give me a break. Revis is UNDER CONTRACT.

When Revis holds out for a new deal, it's nothing personal or anti-Jets. It's simply a business move. Now when the Jets are acting like it's a business, the Revis camp and Jets Nation is all pissed off. Double Standard?

As of now, I'd rather see Revis held onto than to accept far less than what he's worth (a single 2nd round pick).

The Jets will be able to get rid of some big contracts next offseason (Sanchez, Holmes, Harris). Trying Kyle Wilson at FS could add another starter without adding an additional player. This seems more desirable to me than trading Revis for a 2nd round pick
