Nice, definitely not news to us but at least now it's out there for everyone to see.

Sure, Jets running attack wasn't all that potent last year, but Jets OL wasn't the Lions OL during Barry Sanders days exactly, either. Greene SUCKS. I didn't mind losing him one bit for a reason.

Greene is the running back of yester-decade. The slow guy that gets 2-3 yards, a "highlight" of hitting some LB and not falling over, and just taking punishment and popping back up.

Unfortunately, the game is played faster now, and he's not a good fit. He doesn't have much explosiveness, and he has limited vision. I'm not sad he left at all. He works better for the Titans because he's a change of pace back, for the fastest RB in the league probably.

shonne greene will struggle as your number one option, but he will still pick up 1000 yards in that spot. his contract isnt starting rb money, so i dont see the problem. he will be a good foil to chris johnson in the backfield. that teams rushing attack just added a bruiser who is almost a sure thing in short yardage situations. its just that he needs to get into those situations to succeed.

Greene was just a meathead. He will be effective in his current role as a change of pace to CJ2k

I don't know why everyone keeps saying Greene is a power back or a good change of pace for CJ2K's speed.

A power back can break tackles, Greene cannot. Greene is just not very good at anything.

it's crazy that he rushed for a 1000 yards in back to back years, he's slow and is not explosive at all, he always falls on the first contact.

With that said he would be perfect in a pass first type offense like Green Bay or Atlanta, or with a team with a great RB already there like Tennessee with Chris Johnson.
