    No brainer. Gotta do your due diligence in case he falls to 9, plus you build up a scouting report if the Bills decide to draft him instead.

    That would be a really solid pick. Hope it works out.

    Buffalo is probably going to go for Nassib so he reunites with Marrone. Which is great for us. I'd much rather Smith.

    If he's there at 9 he has to be the pick. A good QB helps cover up many other holes on a roster.

    He'll either go to the Cardinals or the Bills... <5% chance he falls to the 9 IMO, but I would take him if he does fall.

    This may sound terrible, but it is the absolute truth.

    Black QB's don't win Super Bowls. The only one to do it was Doug Williams and he wasn't even the starter

    That is no justification to not draft one.. holy shit, man.

    Traditionally, there have been fewer black qbs, so statistically they are less likely to win a Super Bowl but that does not mean it won't happen in the future. Hell, I bet RGIII or Cam Newton will win a super bowl one of these years.

    to be fair there have been very few black qbs up until the 90s.

    however i dont care for geno smith at all and think he will bust very very badly as a pro. that horseshit offense they ran was not something that i think gives stats that are reliable. he also did not lead his team well and they severely underachieved.

    I would love to see us take Geno at #9 and his teammate Tavon Austin at #13 (if we get the Bucs #1 pick for Revis)
