Do you think his faith has been shaken and shattered, that his unbridled belief in himself and divinity has been blunted? Do you think he has come to the realization that in spite of his hard work and dedication he will never succeed in this league? will he grow resentful that despite his prayers there's no miracle to turn his vinegar into wine. Will he renounce everything he stood for in the first half of his life and resign himself to futility. WIll he fall from the heights of human spirit to the depth of hopelessness and destitute. what do his fans think?
His fans seem to think none of the above. It is some vast anti-tebow conspiracy to destroy his career. Tebow wont lose faith, he believes whatever path he ends up in was intended for him to begin with. God holds his future, which is like riding on a train. It can only go where its rails take it. He won't have a problem with it. He does seem a bit deflated with the NFL though. Think it is starting to sink in with him just how far behind the curve he is on his skillset at QB. His rails are giving him a fork where one of them is a chance to stay in the NFL at another position, or stay on the course for QB, which is heading for a steep cliff. People are telling him the bridge is out if he goes that way, but he's gonna stay on that course, crash.... and end up hosting his own reality show. My prediction.
You are wrong about me tebowandthejets. I'm sincerely worried about young tim tebow. Having just watched the Royal Tenenbaums I know how talented youngsters and prodigies can mature into damaged and bitter adults under the wrong circumstances. In much less dramatized terms, it's a rite of passage endured by many young twentysomethings who discover that they will not become everything they wanted to be and must settle for less. It's an age where the pain of fading professional and personal aspirations is yet to numb. The future for tebow is not set but the path will be difficult. I just hope he's strong enough to endure it. I would hate to see him curled up in fetal position and reciting the lyrics from I Dreamed a Dream.
He is fine. His faith tells him this is part of a bigger plan. Besides, he had a successful football career over his lifetime, it just looks like a long NFL career is not in the books. As long as his faithful fans buy books, attend speaking events and watch TV, he will have something to do.
I think your faith in the Jets has been shaken and shattered and I am wondering if you realize the Jets can not succeed in this league.
