I like Ivory as well but the Saints placed a 2nd rd tender on him. Sure you can move a pick for him but with the lack of depth I wouldn't.

Didn't know that. That changes that.... Go with Bradshaw or Mendenhall then.

There's noone else out there, he's the best potential option. There's a chance he'll be cut and he had success in MMs system, he would be the guy who could unseat Sanchez in camp imo.

I'd also like them to draft a QB in rd 3 if there's a decent prospect available then.

Danario Alexander! The Chargers put the lowest possible tender on him. Sure, his knees are suspect, but he is young, well-sized, and is a real game-breaker. I don't know how he fits in Marty Mornhinweg's offense, though...

    Wishlist:
    1. Resign Revis Long term to a reasonable contract. I know this is really wishing
    2. Resign Moore.
    3. Resign Slauson
    4. Sign Garrard or Campbell
    5. Draft Matt Scott
    6. Tell Sanchez either he takes a pay cut to $5 million today and then we release him tomorrow or he will be cut some time after June 1st or sit the bench. If he refuses cut him June 1st.
    7. Sign a decent blocking TE. Casey, Walker or Myers.
    8. Draft Jordan or Warmack with 1st pick.
    9. Draft a OLB, guard and RB and Mike Scott in rounds 1-4
    10. Resign Bell.
    11. Find a serviceable cheap FA safety and OLB
    12. Resign Edwards.
    13. Idzik takes a look at Junc and Hobbes wishlist and decides to do the exact opposite. Amazingly and against all odds it seems those two have never been right about anything in their life. Although I admire Junc's optimism, persistence and effort.

It is a pretty big wishlist with the possibility of needing 2 guards, 2 safeties, 2 OLBs and a serviceable QB who can upgrade the QB position while holding us over until we get a franchise QB. Assuming my flier on Scott does not work out.

I want Mendenhall and Pat Chung

And Randy Moss so I can see him run down the sideline, throw his hand up for the ball, have Sanchez overthrow or underthrow him by 20 yards, then have him walk back to the huddle instead of jogging, shrug his shoulders and quit for the rest of the game. Then in the postgame presser say something like "i can't throw the ball to myself, if i could i would b/c that's the only way i know there will be a ball thrown my way that's catchable"

is that the same dream where we trace nyjunc back through the internet servers only to find out his real name is Woody Johnson? at which point we both say " no wonder he's such a sanchez/chad homer"

Dude i hate Sanchez but kolb cant hold his jockstrap and it erks me to say that but its true. I dont think Kolb has won more then 1 game as a starter and hasnt proven anything. He was a Matt Flynn type who had one good game and got a huge contract for it , and he was a system QB with Andy Reid and without him he failed misserably . If you have Larry Fitzgerald to throw to and you still cant put together a good 60 minutes take a walk.I think Sanchez will be starting next year he will atleast get that chance in WEEK 1.And as far as a wishlist i just want us to bring in a guy like Cribbs or someone else at WR to fill the 2 slot opposite Holmes the Braylon Edwards ship has sailed and i like to see a new face. My wish list is unrealistic with the cap money we have so im really not expecting any thing to surprising in free agency

Revis to Sf for 31 and 34.

    Dion Jordan slips to 9.
    Gio @ 31,
    OL at 34.
Mathieu at 39.(o ly because you don't want Belidouche grabbing him near the bottom of two. He's really a third rounder, but....)

    After that...just stockpile depth.

Realistic, no. But the thread said wish list.

Someone needs to be brought in to compete and at least be a decent backup option. Kolb had success with MM so it makes sense.

I would love that. Especially if we got a rookie OLB early... Harrison and Mingo/moore/jones/etc. would be huge upgrades at both OLB spots and Harrison could really be a great teacher and our next loudmouth now that Bart Scott is gone.

I don't see the success with MM that everyone else sees. Even when he was with the Eagles he was a turnover machine, and has been as bad as Sanchez was this season in terms of protecting the ball his entire career.

If a guy can't throw to Fitz, I doubt he can throw to Holmes/Hill/Kerley

Kolb is better than Sanchez it's just that Sanchez has never missed any games due to injuries, while Kolb seems injury prone. That alone would make me stay away from Kolb.

    My updated wishlist

Trade Revis to SF for 2 1st rounders and a conditional 3rd plus Carlos Rogers (who instantly becomes our number 2 corner)

Draft the best OLB available at the number 9 spot

Draft Geno Smith at number 31 (if available)

Draft another OLB in the 2nd round, draft a guard, tackle, MLB, and another OLB in the later rounds.

Sign Rashard Mendenhall to a reasonable deal

re-sign LaRon Landry, Braylon Edwards, Mike DeVito, Yeremiah Bell

sign a veteran WR like a Randy Moss or Lee Evans

sign David Gerrard to be the starter until Geno Smith is ready

I would draft most of our Off. talents, Alexander is a great choice if his knee unfogs its own doubts he could be a play maker but i have been saying this all offseason what about braylon... cheap ? Yes. productive.. Yes ? enough room on the chart...? i have my doubts.

    it would be Holmes/Hill/Kerley/Bray ?/--Filler

    or.... Holmes/Bray?/Kerely/Hill?/--Filler

liking Mayo... alot so idk how that would work

mayo seems like a hard working Dez Bryant does he put up the numbers ? who knows.
but i would def. play him come Oakland dude is revenge hungry.

Idzik is leaning towards LB Victor Butler of the cowboys, ive never even heard of him . but i guess we need depth at the posistion so why not. He will likely be replacing Calvin Pace if we decide to go this route
