    Keller wants to stay

    Revis wants to stay

    Landry wants to stay

    Actual Quotes
    Actual Stories

All 3 should be here. The GM must show his worth and come up with a way to keep them... THAT"S HIS JOB!
Restructuring, cutting dead wood and resigning your best players is the true art of cap Mgmt...

Cutting/Trading Players is a job that ANY GM can do so I don't get why for some this is the only viable solution...BULLSHIT.

The worst thing is when we let players we draft go because they become good players and it's time to pay them yet
we always let them go while they become great somewhere else because our Front Office including Woody are a bunch of fuck ups.

I'm sick of it....and please don't tell me this is impossible because we are already below it with the cuts and the raise in the cap...

Keller is not worth it, he is nothing more than a slow glorified receiver.

As of right now, we can't conceivably keep all three of them.

Cutting Tebow doesn't save us much money. I don't know how the restructures with other team members will help. That being said, I think it's possible we keep Landry and Keller.

Keller and Revis need to be gone.

Cumberland can fill Kellers role adequately, and Revis is a perpetual headache.

Darelle, we will extend you for 5 years 30 mil guaranteed. no? See ya.

    Keller is worthless.

Cut him loose if he has no suitors hell come back cheap, otherwise bank on Cumberland.

One of the things never mentioned in the reports, is Revis condo, with a sound studio built in, that he will never be able to unload without taking a pretty big hit...of course he wants to stay, that's a headache fr him, sure he can afford it....but he doesn't want to.

Uh Keller is one of the more faster TEs in the NFL, we get it he can't block, but Jimmy Graham from N.O. can't either

How badly they want to stay will be tested when it comes to contract negotiations. Every athlete says that stuff but it's pretty rare when they don't go to the highest bidder when FA comes.

I agree with you to an extent.

There are many FA's who have said "it was time to move on" though.

My thing is that it can be done, if the JETS want it to be.
Now, if the players ask for a ridiculous amount (Which so far has ALL been speculation on how much $) Then as many said, we will see how they want to be here...

Crazy that we have one of the top players in the NFL and he's what, the 7th highest played player on your own team? lol...wow.

I'd like to bring back Keller and Landry for sure. Trading Revis frees up space to do so... It's not possible to sign Landry+Keller+Revis long term without having absolute shit at other spots.

It makes too much sense to trade Revis, we had a good pass D without him, have no cap space and need major upgrades on offense. Picks 31 and 34 would be nice.

Except it doesn't. It actually takes away an additional $3M in cap space ($12M in dead money as opposed to his $9M cap value).

Word. Didn't know that. Regardless, long term, it can't happen.

They both can't block and one has Drew Brees throwing the football with Sean Payton calling the plays. HUGE difference.

Keller is a talented TE no doubt

Revis just wants not only money, but the most money.

Yeah, really crazy that he took a deal that paid him $32.5 million over the first two years, making him one of the highest paid non-QB's in the NFL and is now "only" making $6M this year in the last year of the deal.

The reasons we're in the situation we're in with Revis right now are two-fold:

    1. Al Davis was over the hill mentally when he gave Asomugha the big deal.

    2. The Jets were weak with Revis in 2010. They should have let him sit out the season and then tolled over the contract.

There's no fix available for the issues above at this late date. The Jets are going to have to ride this one out and jump the minute they see a favorable outcome. Being weak with Revis again isn't going to fix anything it will just make things worse down the road.

I would love if the Jets found a way to keep all 3, but sadly we can't afford to keep them all.

Why does everyone hate Keller so much?? I want to see him in a real offense with a real qb and he will be a beast

When you win a Superbowl, you have latitude to do whatever the hell you want.
