I want youth, if we were a couple of players from building around a solid core of young talented players, I would consider it. Lets get the core of this team in place first then see where we have to fill in the blanks.

The Jets aren't getting back into the hunt in 2013. Draft, let the rooks get experience and then stock up on the 2014 draft (and FA's) and go from there. Temporary stop gap rentals looking for a final paycheck on their way out the door isn't the route for this team to take.

This self-centered prick abandoned his teammates heading into a playoff game no less. Could you imagine a Klecko, a Marty Lyons let alone a Jack Youngblood or Ronnie Lott pulling such a cunt stunt?

    Slacker, screw him.

Yes. He was our best defender, about to become a RFA, and sat out the playoffs out of fear of getting injured and 'ruining' his upcoming pay day.

edit: I can't remember exactly but I kind of remember him even saying this to a reporter

edit again: He was dinged up (minor end of season stuff) and parleyed that into not playing. He made no friends in the locker room with that move.

He sprained his fucking VAGINA. That's not something he should have skipped the PLAYOFF GAME for.

    THIS.

Abraham is OVERRATED. Good player, especially in games that don't matter. Fails to play as well when it counts. And he's old, and he quit on us and he would want waaaay more money than he is actually worth. .... which of course id why the falcons dumped him - not worth the money.

Lets hope and I think he will be one of those players signed after the draft. If we have our eye on dion Jordan or Jarvis jones and come up short I think Abraham is a serious option. But we should reevaluate after the draft. I'd prefer the youth movement but if he comes cheaper than expected I'm for it.

Denver should have never signed Peyton Manning; they should find a way to get rid of both him and his contract; after all, he is 0-1 in bringing the Broncos a Super Bowl.

Old, quit on us and is always hurt. That's one of the main reasons we traded him, couldn't stay healthy. We got someone great in return too. Mangold, great trade

Just because he got 10 sacks in the 4-3 doesn't mean he will get 10 sacks in the 3-4.

Abe's name may well be in Canton one day. Believe it.

If you can get him on the cheap, it'd be foolish not to.
