Honestly I say we could be as bad as 4-12 or as good as 7-9. I don't see us winning more than 7 games no matter how optimistic I am.

I have always said to myself i will be satisfied with 6 or 7 wins this season. That would be a productive year. BUt the only reason i think that is because thats what everyone keeps telling me. Everywhere i look people are telling me the Jets are the worst team in the NFL. But after going to training camp, preseason games, and all the articles that i have read, I have faith in our team against almost every opponent we play. I dont see any reason we cant make the playoffs if we stay healthy. I say 10-11 wins.

points are going to be hard to come by for the jets this year it seems.

i'm hoping for some kind of cinderella season but instead of predicting a magic number of wins--- 6? 7? 8? i will enjoy watching and scrutinizing the new coach and his staff and will pay particular attention to the offensive and defensive strategies. i'll take notice of the evolution of the new personality the team takes on this year.

also, i'll watch the growth of the rookies. i'll also keep a keen eye on chad and determine if he can survive as a true franchise QB. he'll need help, though, because i feel he is a system QB that needs a strong running game and superior protection to be effective. he'll never "shoulder" the load without lots of help.(imho)

i will particulary enjoy (hopefully) a coach that can manage the clock.

it's been mentioned before ,and i agree, that this team could mirror the 1997 jets.

    good luck jets!

Yall are very optimistic i cant see us winnig anymore than 8 games but i predict us winning 3 or 4 games. Our team is bad , quarterback is injury-proned rb is injured, o-line is young.Plus the defense adjusting to a 3-4 isnt going to be easy.

Assuming Chad stays healthy the best case is 9-7 or thereabouts. If he plays half the season, which is fairly likely given his history, then 6-10 is probably a more likely target.

Can't do a worst case without knowing the injury rolls and we won't know that until pad hits pad.

Unless the offense totally collapses like last season we'll be better than 4 wins.

Last year was the worst case scenario.
