I am a big fan of defense, and these are 2 teams with great defenses. Lately, the superbowl seems to come down to a pure offensive team vs a pure defensive team (except Saints vs Colts maybe). I like this matchup much better. As much as I loved Brady losing, the fact that the Patriots or Giants were even in the superbowl left a bad taste in my mouth. Sure they were good games, but with the 2 Harbaughs, Ray Lewis retiring, Flacco transcending and a young raw QB on Sanfran, this could be a matchup for the ages. Heck I could watch a 9-6 superbowl and I'd love it.

P.S. - With Suggs calling the Pats and Belicheat arrogant mother ------rs, you gotta root for us, lol.

I always liked the Ravens for some reason even before Rex. I like watching Ed Reed so I think that's part of it, I think the other reason is the Steelers. I always wanted them to lose and you guys seemed to run into them a lot and get the short end of the stick until recently.

Yeah, Baltimore and the Jets haven't met too many times, but I remember a game (cant remember the year) when we played you guys in NY, and Herman Edwards was your coach. Ed Reed had this 105 something INT pick 6 right before halftime. One of the most impressive returns ive ever seen. He was amazing to watch in his prime. Ozzie Newsome can draft some studs

edit: i cant find a video of it for my life

You're a Ravens fan and can't remember last year's matchup enough to bring it up???? pshhhhhhhhhhhhhh

not doubting you're a Ravens fan but I don't think you are a hardcore fan. You are a casual fan ( it is ok, nothing wrong with it)

I love the talent on the 49ers both sides of the ball. I don't see how the Ravens can match up.

Is the spot to big for Kaepernick? If not this could be a blowout.

Last season is what I meant. As in the season before this past season. You guys played the Jets in 2010 and 2011. Did you know that?

It is not just about containing Kapernick but also Gore and the WRs!

I can't decide who i like less in this game. Moss or Lewis.

If I had to guess who wins, I'm going with SF.

like 49ers over Ravens 28-24, but probably down to the wire. Flacco is good with throwing jump ball to his solid core of receivers so I see that as key matchups vs secondary of 49ers. And if it comes down to kicking game, 49ers will be in trouble. Still, with playmaking abilities of KP7, SF should move and control the ball and score enough points. Going to be a great game.

The only way I see a blowout is if it is the other way around with Baltimore laying the wood hard causing 3-4 TO's.

However, I think it will more likely be a close game with Baltimore winning 27 -24. I would in no way be shocked if the score goes the other way.

I have to root for the Ravens and Flacco since they killed the pats by holding them to 13pts!!!!!

I'm not a fan of either team and I usually can't stand the Ravens, but I think their defense will over power SF. Everyone says it will be a close game, so I'm thinking it won't be that close. I say Baltimore has a big second half. Maybe 38-24 or something like that. So what if I'm wrong? Pitchers and Catchers are packing their bags!
