If you wanted to win this year, you want Mawae. You could have used #29 and #35 to move up and get a back.

However, if you are thinking rebuild, like these guys were, then they made the right move. When this team is ready to win, Mawae would be done.

I think he really meant Marigold.

Anyway, I want Joe Sakic at center. True, he's a veteran, but he knows the ins and outs. Give me Sakic over Marigold every day of the week.

Not even a contest. Mangold is the better option. As has already been pointed out, Mawae was getting owned more and more. Honestly, the only thing I still liked from him was getting downfield to make blocks for the running game. Mangold is a long-term option. Mawae is at the end of a HoF career at center.

I want Chad to stick his hands into Manigold's manifold.

i never liked mawae in the slightest. i always thought he was quite the jerk. good football player, but i just didn't like him as a person at all. on top of that, he didn't play nearly as well the last 2 years and i for one am happy he is gone...

    mangold all the way.

Brent Smith gave JP Machado some solid competition for worst o-lineman ever.

Another foolish poll! We had no choice but to move out Mawae and rebuild - and Mangold is the kind of building block a franchise needs when they are starting over.

This is such a stupid thread...We all know what Mawae could do...he's a veteran...Mangold, yes age and starting with a new team, new coach and such, but comon', why even post such a thread.

If both were on the team, I'd say Mawae and ease Mangold in.

Without Mawae, we're good with Mangold....age, physical health on his side.
