The one thing I saw, the QBs that succeeded yesterday had all the time in the world in the pocket. That means
    1) Our OL needs to be able to do that
    2) Our LB/DL needs to be able to stop an OL from doing that

I think we are closer with Wilk defensively than offensively in those 2 goals

I agree, no contract is good enough for Revis based on his holdouts.

    Awwww you still support Mark.

Maybe you can follow him to Arizona.

denver lost because they gave up a stupid hail mary with 30 seconds left with the game in hand and because peyton threw a ridiculous interception in overtime. it had nothing to do with peyton being a warm weather qb.

People putting all the blame on peyton for that game are either dishonest and trying to support some kind of agenda or don't understand the game - possibly both.

    QB 1 vs Ravens 28/43 290 6.7 3 2
    QB 2 vs Ravens 22/36 239 6.6 0 2

Oh and it's com/att, yards, ypa, TDS, INTs

QB 2 won his playoff game against the Ravens and QB 1 lost even though QB 1 played better in every facet of the game. Funny how that works. It's like football is a team sport and not everything falls on the QB :eek:hmy:

D you and Tebow go to the same church or something? For you think Tebow was/is better for any team over Manning is ludicrous.

One thing we are learning from this game? Even the best secondary cant stop a high-powered offense. See what happens when you invest in offensive talent like the Falcons?

No, I am an athiest. I just wanted Mark benched once it was apparent he had no business being in the NFL.

I don't care about a QB's race, religion, sexual preference or politics.

I do however want to win.

Mark and Rex fucked that up this year, and yet they are both still Jets.

    That is my beef.

this is exactly right. the OP has it completely ass backwards.

Its a QB league. YOu need a top QB, some deep threats and a pass rush.Period.

Not only does Revis give us any of that but his contract demans will prevent us from getting there.

How someone can watch this weekend's games and decide we need to invest 20 million dollars in corners is laughable.

One thing you need to get in your head. I know this is difficult for you. Just because someone on this board thinks that Tebow is not an NFL QB and wants him off the Jets roster does NOT mean the same person wants Sanchez as the starting QB next year or in the future. The first step towards fixing this team is getting Tebow as far away as possible.

I think if we get a great passrusher and Davis get better in the middle, Revis could very easily be replaced by Cro. I think though that CRO will be traded because of Revis' injury. CRO can bring us a nice return. Heck we were a very good defense without REVIS. Let s acknowledge that and prior to the injury we did noy play all that great!

and yet it was Sanchez that stunk up the team! Makes sense to me that we need to cut Tebow first rather replace Sanchez with a competent QB like Matt Moore!

Matt Moore with Tebow looking over his shoulder is a very unstable QB situation.

We can still have a good defense without Revis, but we will have a great defense with him, Cromartie, and a pass rusher.

Maybe we should bring Brunell back? Then we can look stable? We shouldn't try to come up with another plan? I'm hoping they will at least make a slight effort to get better on offense. But then again Wrecks is running the show.

Not everything falls on the QB but the QB is the most important position. We expect the most out of a QB, most importantly leadership and intellect. Unfortunately, there are so few good QB and we're stuck with the worse of the worse of QBs.

    Moore starter

    McElroy backup

Rookie mid round development pick -- #3

Turnover Machine #53 player on the roster - scout team QB inactive 16 games and then gone, goodbye

Do you remember Bob Sanders? The guy was superman, but he kept getting hurt. DB's age more quickly than QB's. No team could pay Revis and Cromartie and compete with the cap.

BTW, Brady has max 3 years left, probably two.

With all due respect, you are delusional. All you need is a new QB, half an offensive line, a running back, two wideouts, a tight end and a new offensive coordinator. Not to mention you are in cap jail. 2 year fix minimum, just to get to below average.
